View Full Version : Why are they not letting housemates participate in normal nominations?

Week 1 - Face to Face
Week 2 - Nominations shown to the housemates
Week 3 - Simon and Sam nominate
Week 4 - Face to Face
Why are they letting this show to the dogs. The fact that normal nominations have not been played out yet has been ridiculed on forums, social media, fansites etc. What a joke.

They are a bunch of idiots that's why

I don't think we had a single normal nomination week last year either. Can I get verification on that?
The fact we've had four weeks of nominations and everybody knows who's nominated them each time just makes a mockery of the whole process tbh

But at least we had the odd week where nominations were still private.

Yeah for Armageddon week, a shocking twist

It is no longer a game show. They just revolve the whole show around striving to get the ratings and hence have their key characters that they don't want to lose. It was obvious that if normal noms had taken place then one of the newbies would have gone so they just fix it however they want.
Why people waste their money voting is beyond me because if your favourite is not running around like a lunatic causing conflict and arguments on a regular basis then they are not featured.
I think it is pretty obvious that the new housemates are "actors" who have their roles to play. It's almost like ticking off a checklist, arguments, insults, nudity and the obligatory showmance.
The days of BB as we know it are long gone now.

Noms are pointless now
Maybe they'll say that these face-to-face nominations were fake and will do diary room nominations tomorrow? Which I wouldn't get the point of either, but at least it'd give us vaguely normal nominations. Which we were promised.

What will be the point when the noms will be the same? I wouldn't put it past them

I think face to face is the new "normal" now, as much as they like to convince us it's a twist or a 'nom bomb'. They obviously do it to try and cause tension and manufacture drama but it's done so often now that the reactsions we get are nothing like those we used to see... the more they repeat it the less they care.

It's face to face?!
ffs they have a huge twist coming up, can they not leave it alone :bored:
Lostie!

I'm glad they've had full nominations, but why face to face again?
The people currently running the show honestly have a problem, they're obsessed with "BIIIIG NOMINATIONS TWIIIIIIIISTSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!". :idc:
What will be the point when the noms will be the same? I wouldn't put it past them
Exactly.
i think the face to face noms were part of the reverse day task tbh

they obviously want more drama, which is pointless when they "suggest people calm down" and "send people to bed" over the littlest things :suspect:

Cause with them they might not get the results they want.

Cause with them they might not get the results they want.
They would though because they change the number of noms each time  I dont really understand what is to be gained from a viewer point of view by regular face to face noms, it causes zero friction these days

Because they don't want to lose Marc and Simon.

Even in BB15, we had normal Diary Room nominations, except Week 8, when it was Face to Face.
That's one thing that BB15 was better at so far.
