I think yes, curious as to how many people disagree though.
Did he actually get a warning though? It sounded more like a bollocking.

Yes he did,but I think BB know aswell as some of us,he is not a mean person,he is foul mouthed, gobby and annoying, but underneath all that bravado is a nice man imo.he just needed telling to keep him in check. Not everyone will get his banter and way of talking.

I disagree, I don't think hes very nice at all.
One time he purposely messed up the house because others would have to tidy it as part of the task, another time he ruined Nick and Harrys food when it would have been easier to leave it. Tonight he told Sam that he wanted to painfully make her cry in a pleasurable way. These aren't even the only examples of his cruel and mean behaviour.
The guys a dick, I can see why people may like him though. He's entertaining enough in a house full of bores.

Yes to what he said to Sam, no to the Chloe thing as that's really bizarre.
Will Ch5 have the Housemates do anything remotely fun in the end?

I think we are not seeing all he has said to the others and therefore on listening to them,I would say his talking to was warranted.
He does come out with statements that are unnecessary.
He is really funny however and so I think that is why it wasn't like a final warning or was it even a warning.
It seems according to BB that he has had however several times, where BB has said to tone down his comments.
It would seem he is getting away with quite a lot for some reason.

I am glad most on this forum agree Marc deserved warning about his sexual aggressive bullying of Sam

They voted on whether he deserved a warning in this recent case, not if he was a bully or not. You're some sort of spin doctor, you.

His warning was for repeated sexually aggressive behaviour which is sexual bullying as it not a one off event.

I'm not sure. I voted no because I don't feel theres anything malicious in it, nor does it seem to actually bother Sam..plus he was ****ing mortified, he clearly didn't mean it to come across the way it did and you could tell that by his reaction when BB read back the words
However, it did really come across REALLY wrong and I would have understood if he had got a formal warning.

Yes he did deserve it.
He's proved he can be entertaining without being nasty, but for some reason keeps pushing it and hopefully has learned his lesson because if not i can see him getting kicked out.

I am beginning to wonder if he is totally thck alongside his rudeness.
As to his apology..nah, it just rolled off his tongue like the rest of his bullcrap.
Banter my backside.

Marc isn't bullying anyone but he certainly deserved a warning. He is overstepping the line time and time again with his sexual talk and NO IT ISNT ****ING BANTER. He just doesn't THINK before he speaks and its really uncomfortable to watch. I fear he will eventually be ejected unless he tones things down. Just cos he goes up to someone and says sorry AFTER the event doesn't make him a good guy. I am fed with of him now.

"Oh, now you say it, I can hear it sounds terrible. I didn't mean it like that. I was just trying to make her feel better. Like when I was with that girl and she was saying no and I did it anyway, afterwards I could see maybe I should've stopped but at the time I thought it was okay, you know, just making her cry with my massive tool. And when she said no I thought it was banter. I never meant it to be taken the wrong way (etc)..."
NOT a Marc quote but an extension of the logic used to justify unacceptable behaviour.

hmmm overall he is out of control and has to be kept in line.....for these 2 incidents...hmmmm the picking up chole yes have a word, the bizarre chat with sam...? no that was nonsense but not quite worth a warning imo

Yes he deserved the warning...he does overstep the mark with his banter....and it is banter. He needs to know where to draw the line. I think he is used to male company and doesn't know how to respect women. He likes women to enjoy his male banter...he doesn't know where to draw the line.
When he said in the diary room that he is finding it tough because he is starting to like some of the housemates and doesn't want to like them nor them to like him...is a telling thing. It's almost like being disliked gives him a reason to be annoying and enables him to push the boundaries. Having mutual respect doesn't allow him to do this.

He was warned about the language used. You have to factor in intent. He was spouting stupid garbage but he was trying to cheer her up. Trying to cheer up your "victims" is hardly bullying 101.

Just because he gives the house a lift. We shouldn't really tolerate that kind of behaviour. Look at how we reacted to Connor. remember him. who really said much less. But there was a massive uproar to him.

I made Marc my favorite as he's bringing viewing entertainment to an otherwise dreadfully-boring BB house.
But he could dial his testosterone back a bit.
Or give some to Joel.
Yep he deserved a warning.
..yep, this..no matter how it's spun or whether anyone likes him as a housemate/a person or not...it was the most bizarre thing to say to 'cheer someone up to make them feel better..'...so even taking him at his word and at it's 'best' etc...really a very sexually aggressive thing to say ....

Do you really believe that someone so full of "banter" is not completely aware of what he is saying and of its intent?
He was being a nasty twat. Every time he crosses the line he says oops, i didn't mean it, i was only having a laugh, its only banter. I don't believe that for 1 second. He has got a nasty side to him, and if he thinks he is not getting the reaction he wants, he dials it up until he does get it.
Everything Marc does is calculated and intended, any other excuse is just banter.

Totally agree kazanne, he's been a brilliant HM & hope wins
The way I am reading it is that he actually has some power over BB.They want him to stay but are constantly concerned about the consequence's of allowing this. Not dissimilar to Helen last year.
The only difference is that she made many feel uncomfortable whereas I think some of the current HMs feel a worse type of threat from marc.He does use his bulk and body language as well as his mouth to dominate/intimidate.
Several HMs have mentioned concern RE his unpredictability especially when he has had a drink. In there they have to make there own entertainment so an unpredictable HM can be fun and well liked because of this but his versions of same are often perceived less so.
I always try to self case things and judge HMs on balance yes he does have some good points but tbh i would not like sharing that house with him.

Agree!
His banter isn't the type of banter i've ever experienced, i think he has a foul attitude towards women, and i really don't know how Sam can just sit there and smile at him as he says something so disgusting:conf:

Yeah I only voted for the bottom option because it was unclear how many times he'd been warned before, so a formal warning was fair (if that's what was given).

Yes, he's vile.
But it was such a disappointment that BB hasn't said specifically "Big brother is issuing you with a formal warning". sounded more of a tell off than an actual warning. They clearly looking for ways to keep him as much as they can in the house (that includes him being sent to the lair and therefore "apparently" receiving a made up immunity for next week's noms).

You can see that Marc could easily be a extremely violent person.
