Safe house ****s all over the rest
Probably the Safe House in terms of the people who were in there/the impact it had on the series (the birth of Ginxter, the death of Daley's credibility, the lasting effect of Sam's failure to complete the alphabet), but probably the Bolt Hole if we're going on the actual design?
Daniel.

The Safe House, I loved Gina and liked Dexter at that point too.

yeah the Safe House had a legacy and was a huge part of the series.
The safe house by far. They actually made the effort with it so that it became a part of the series as opposed to the pointless versions.

The basement was good as well, the last few have been rubbish tbh
Jason.

The fact we've had like 6 secret rooms in the last 2 years.
If we're ranking these as well:
The Safe House >>>>>>>>>>>> the Basement > the Bolt Hole > the Cult of Celebrity > Perez' secret room > the Crypt > the Spare Room
(the ones from Channel 4 would be above all of these, except the Halfway House)

They've become more used than the Diary Room.

Safe House.
There was a hype to it that the Bedsit and HND had, back in the C4 days.
Plus, that's when secret rooms were new to Channel 5, so they were still exciting.
Only negative is that they shouldn't have carried through with it, after Ginxter.
But then again, that did give us Slapgate, so?

hoping that maybe its a proper secret house if there doing a live show and everything for it like the safe house
Daniel.

wtf was the spare room
Jason.

wtf was the spare room
That room Helen was "evicted" to, like 3 days before the final.
The name says it all, TBH.
Daniel.

The most pointless and stupid twist in Big Brother history.

Why not? The House Next Door was used three times, and that's one of the most popular ones. The more mileage they can get out of a secret room and make it seem less like something they'd made up on the spot (hi Perez and your half-finished room), the better.
Will.

theres excitement for this one I think

The most pointless and stupid twist in Big Brother history.
93% of the twists on C5 have been pointless and stupid, this one doesn't really stand out, TBH.
theres excitement for this one I think
That's more due to the ex-housemates, which I suppose is a new angle. There'd be no anticipation if it was just building up to Showbiz being in a room on his own for a week.

Yes, but that was different.
It was used as part of the Prison Task, and then for the ex-housemates.
What was the point of having Sophie and Sam, and Hazel and Daley in there?

I don't see how it was different. It was a rare twist in the sense that they kept it going for more than a week - plus, Sophie, Sam and Dan were in there because of the twist where they assumed they were safe (what with it being called the Safe House and all) but weren't.
Oh, and it was used during CBB12 for the bathroom, which I suppose is another thing.
Jason.

Those were crap twists, which didn't really play a big part in the series or house dynamics, themselves.
It wouldn't have a made a difference if they carried them out or not.
Well apart from the loss of Dan, but then who cared about him anyway.
Jason.

They're two different houses, so not really.
The same way the HND was used as the Masters and Servants task in CBB5.

The safe house was great. Gina and Dexter produced classic TV, the infamous Daley and Hazel incident occurred there and the Sam and Sophie twist was great (would have been beefed if Sam left)
Those were crap twists, which didn't really play a big part in the series or house dynamics, themselves.
A crap twist that saved some potentially more entertaining housemates and gave us the chance to evict the dullards.
They're two different houses, so not really.
I'm just saying that it served a use, because otherwise the celebrity series wouldn't have had a bathroom unless they'd purposely built another one. :umm2:

Yes, because Sam and Sophie were such great entertainment.

...which is why I called them dullards...

The Safe House
It felt like something big, even though it wasn't unique it still felt like something new
The rest have been another "*sigh* they're doing this **** again"

None. I preferred Michelle/Emma's in BB5 and the one the chav Queen went into in BB7, even though they're not from the C5 era.
