View Full Version : Can HM's in the bedroom please calm it down...
Play fighting deserves a warning message from BB now? really?
Vicky.

They are crapping themselves incase marc goes too far I reckon. I have never known BB to tell housemates to calm down over the tannoy before but its happened like twice in a week now, both times involving marc
They know the show is ****ed if he leaves (given he pretty much singlehandedly saved the whole thing) and are now worried they might HAVE to chuck him..my theory

Nice of them to warn golden boy Marc in case he went too far yet they didn't try stop Aaron.

Play fighting from someone as unhinged and irresponsible as Marc? Yes, BB should def cover their asses by telling him to stop. Are they actually hoping he does drop someone on their head, masturbate over their unconscious body, and call it banter? Of course. It's a sh*t-show, and both production and Marc are overflowing with it.

I think your theory is spot on.

I think this is pretty spot on actually Vicky
They've really ramped it up in telling housemates how they should behave since Aaron was ejected. At one end of the spectrum, they shouldn't have no involvement in the show whatsoever, but at the other, it really can't retain any of whatever part of the 'social experiment' aspect it has left to it if Big Brother is acting like Supernanny 24/7.

Even Sarah said they were telling them to calm down/behave before the newbies came.

OK, well I never heard that once.
Wonder why they didn't do it with Aaron then...
It could just be backlash from the Aaron thing. They got a lot of **** for not calling it in sooner. The optimist in me would like it to be that :joker:

It's really irritating and pathetic, but tonight's wasn't as embarrassing as it was the first time when they were all strict 'CAN HOUSEMATES CALM DOWN' :umm2:
I agree with Vicky also. And it makes Aaron's ejection all the more pathetic considering they could (and should) have intervened before that went too far

I was going to ask why didn't they just call Marc to the diary room, but thought they were trying to air caution and then Vicky's post pretty much said where I was going.

Yes, I remember Sarah saying this and thinking (at the time) that I hadn't heard BB do this or if they had I had forgotten about it.
Sometimes the evictees mention things in their interviews after the show and I think why didn't we know about this, especially if it could be seen as something they might do often.

and are now worried they might HAVE to chuck him..
Only bit I don't quite get.
If it's not over the top (good thread btw), he's done far worse before ?
Ok maybe they're worried it will escalate.
But weren't they before ?
And what's the worse that can happen ?
Ok he's controversial but hardly a loose cannon.

They don't want another Daley situation.

..(my theory..)..which I've actually just made up right now so obviously wrong but I'll go with it anyway and really from my own perspective only because I'm struggling to maintain interest...is no matter what time bombs, what twists, what turns, what new housemates and secret rooms etc...they're just not getting the viewing figures that they hoped..(I have no idea what the viewing figures are..)...but maybe little boosts of viewers now and then when there is some particular controversy etc..?..but not maintaining the interest so warnings etc may get media coverage and media coverage may get more viewers...let's make this play-fighting sound much more than it is...
..however Josy/Vicky...what playfighting/warning was this..?....
..actually I have another theory that I just thought of...(if this is not the same play-fighting with Danny and Marc that was on the HL show..?..)...did Danny nominate Marc ..?..so although there seems to be a bit of a 'lads' bond going on, maybe with more than we are shown, BB sees some tension there as well with the guys in general and is worried that what may have started as play could turn more serious or less playing as sometimes these things can with competitiveness etc...so just kind of pre-empting and trying to stop that from happening...
I think its a lot more simple. Picking up Chloe and throwing her around could easily have resulted in an injury that the producers would have been held responsible for. The BB studio is a work environment, and for the purposes of insurances etc, it is BB's responsibility to ensure certain standards are maintained. If they don't and an injury occurred, they would be held liable and the insurance company would not pay out.

I agree with this^
I know i wouldn't have appreciated being picked up and thrown like that, there was no warning from him, he is completely chaotic.
She could've hurt her back or neck, i know she was thrown on a bed but i got whiplash on a bouncy castle:shocked:
If anyone ends up hurt, BB are liable, i also don't understand his manhandling of people, was he never taught spacial awareness:shrug:

If it was just this I would let it go, but it's the fact that BB are uptight over anything that's actually lighthearted nowadays, it's strangling the life out of most of their series with the constant negativity that they strive for.
They need to look at CBB13 and cast more people like that again, with Live Feed on the Internet to prove that most of the events are real.

Yeah, seems like this, probably crapping themselves that they'll have another Aaron situation if they don't nip things in the bud

Yes I agree with this for that particular Chloe situation. I know he was just messing about but when I saw him pick Chloe up and slam her down (twice I think) on the bed, the first thing I thought was "oh jebus be careful, her back or her neck is going to bet busted :worry: ". I know it was just playing, it's just the huge size difference, this guy with massive muscles slamming her down into the bed, Chloe was just like a ragdoll in comparison and tbh it looked like an accident waiting to happen. I don't think they intervened at all when Marc and Danny were playfighting but I might be wrong about that?
The first "calm down" warning though on the 4in4out night did look to be a warning to prevent an argument that could cause someone to be kicked out as tensions were running so high, so there is probably some truth that they are trying to prevent another ejection and I also think that they should have given Aaron a similar warning before it got too far.
