It wasn't extended because it was a twist, it was extended because of the number of eviction interviews and housemate entrances they had to fit into a single episode. Something that won't be an issue this week.

They didn't go 'OMG WE'RE TWISTING!!!! LET'S GO FOR TWO HOURS!!!!'.
