..and pulling out his gun...

Authorities in Texas have suspended a cop caught on video slamming a 14-year-old girl to the ground and pulling his gun out at a pool party.

“Face down!” the McKinney officer shouted at the bikini-clad girl as he yanked her onto her stomach and then kneeled on her bare back.

A dozen officers responded on Friday afternoon to reports of an out-of-control party and fights among teens at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool, police said in a statement.

A dark-haired, white officer was filmed racing back and forth, ordering teens, most of them black, to lie down in the grass, sometimes dragging them to the ground by their heads. Brandon Brooks, who taped the chaotic scene, claimed the incident started with a fight between a mom and a girl. People ran when officers arrived, and cops began cuffing people “for no reason,” Brooks said in the video’s description

He probably thought he was in Lethal Weapon or something, hence that silly roll at the beginning and the posturing. Glad he got sacked.

America needs a national overhaul of it's police force, It seems like every week there's a new Police Brutality incident and it isn't confined to one state or police force but all over the place. It's like they're giving anyone a badge and a gun at this point. They definitely need higher standards. One story like this is one too many but stories like this popping up nearly every week is ridiculous.

No he Resigned

When people "resign" in cases like this they've usually effectively been sacked. The option is generally given as a courtesy; "Resign of we'll take the choice away". The reasons for that being that there's far less paperwork involved when someone resigns and no come-back (unfair dismissal claims, etc.) and from the perspective of the person resigning, it has less impact on their ability to find another career and on their reputation.

"The actions of Eric Casebolt are indefensible," police Chief Greg Conley said, calling the officer "out of control during the incident."
Casebolt made the decision to resign after meeting with the department's internal affairs unit to review possible charges he could face, said lawyer Jane Bishkin,

Because I find it very curious why you like to back Police Officers almost 100% when it involves incidents against black people but the first time I see you glad that an officer is "weeded" out and is a "bad apple" is when that officer is black. What is stranger is that certain members ONLY post videos about USA police when its a white officer involved with a black person..

All I do is try and point out the hysteria and establish facts and evidence that mostly are missing

Both officers were suspended and subsequently resigned because of an incident with a member of the public, they're very very similar

Sorry i think they are entierly different

you may as well say they are the same as they involve the police, both are men and its in the USA

Your point in the other thread was that we should respect that the Police themselves can deal with Police Officers who they deem to have acted badly in their position....and in both cases the Police Chief did condemn the officers in questions actions, they were both suspended and they did both resign............
