Cristian's a huge fake according to sources

A former school pal of Big Brother housemate Cristian MJC claims he’s faking most of his persona.


Although we’d like to think that if Cristian has been telling some pork pies they’d have been ones that made him more entertaining rather than the possibly one of the show’s most boring housemates.

The London rapper – real name Matthew Clarkson – has so proved pretty dull in the series so far.

And according to an old school pal the ‘real’ Cristian is even less than interesting.

“The news that Cristian, or Matthew as we know him, was entering the Big Brother house has been met by a great deal of disbelief and ridicule by everyone who knew him in school,” they told The Sun newspaper in an interview today.

“The rap career is a bit of a mystery to us all.
“Matt is from Lancashire but after school moved down to London obviously to pursue this ‘career’ and managed to develop a questionable South London accent in the first few months of being there.”

The unnamed friend called Cristian’s claims of growing up ‘on the streets’ as “bogus”, saying: “At that age he was still living in a quiet Lancashire town and attending Clitheroe Royal Grammar School.”

And the friend also claimed: “I think that he definitely liked to believe that he was a ladies man, however the vast majority of girls that I know just found him to be cringe-worthy and obnoxious, especially after he uploaded his first couple of ‘rap vids’ to Facebook.”

If Cristian is trying to re-invent himself it hasn’t quite worked out with his former housemates having previously seen straight through it all after nicknaming him “cringe bag.”

Still, he’s a nice enough guy.

We all knew the accent was fake. He's slipped up a bit in Diary Room footage and on the live feed before quickly hurrying back to the South London accent.

He's trying to make himself look like Jack the Lad with the public, though I don't know why. Nick's posh, and he's one of the most popular housemates in there.

For someone who is "supposedly" so boring Cristian sure does generate a lot of threads.

This article is nothing we didn't know from his bio on his website. He talks about the fact that he was bullied in school about his scar and his hearing problems. He has also talked about a lot of his "friends" who deserted him and ridiculed him when he started his musical career. So I fail to see how he is fake just because one of these jealous bully decides to make some money out of him. Just seeing stories like these makes me feel for him even more because it clarifies why such a good looking guy is actually very shy and insecure in reality.

In my opinion Cristian is one of the original housemates that has come across as genuine and not fake in there. He has been supportive, had fun and doesn't get off on causing arguments for airtime or acting like a performing seal to get attention. He is a great guy as far as I am concerned.

Very disappointed in you this series Legend killer, you're usually a supporter of the entertaining housemates like the greats like John James but you're letting yourself down this year I'm afraid

John James was the man up untill this series but Cristian has taken to heights Josie prevented john James from reaching

It is hard for me to admit but i am not even half the man Cristian is. His whole handling of the girls and even Marc throwing themselves at him commands respect and honour. A lesser more beta man would have for sure given into Jade by now.

Don't want to split hairs, but I am not sure Cristian defines himself as white, technically speaking he's mixed race - mum is half indian, dad white, so he's a quarter Indian, but I never know at what point someone becomes white despite non white ancestry eg Chad Michael Murray (1/4 Japanese), Channing Tatum (mixed black great grandparents), Gabrielle Reece, Ryan Giggs (mixed race father) etc

Just because he's not perfect doesn't mean he's a fraud. People change as they age. Plus it's fairly known that he was made fun of for his rapping aspirations so I don't know if I'd take and old schoolmate as gospel. I honestly think you see things that aren't there. Cristian doesn't look in the mirror anymore than anyone else from what I have seen. His chat up lines was not serious, he was making a joke out of it and then totally messed up and laughed about it. This ridiculous comment about CBB that keeps getting bought up. We only have BB's word it was said and we don't know what context. Jade started the conversation by trying to convince everyone and Cristian that she could get anyone she wanted. His retort was brilliant. I think if you saw Cristian's background, it is obvious he has suffered a lot of bullying and a lot of fake friends. At that time and in that moment I think he was genuinely touched that Jack would do that for him.
To be honest I think Cristian is far from arrogant and if I had to sum him up at all it would be more shy and very insecure. It is pretty obvious he puts up a barrier at times because of his past but he is one of the housemates that actually has empathy towards others. I have never heard Cristian talk ill of anyone.
