Love Island - An average audience of 430,000 viewers tuned in to Sunday evening’s opening episode which saw the contestants pair up and even a first kiss just one night in
Big Brother - Big Brother, which aired from 9PM through to 10PM, had over double the audience of 940,000 viewers.
So Big Brother doesn't need to worry about clashing with Love Island I guess.

Theres a ratings thread and tbh a show on a multi channel should not be competition for BB which is on one of the 5 main channels anyway that's just sad.

...but Channel 5's audience share isn't normally all that different to ITV2's?

Take Me Out: The Gossip shade?
I recorded LI then watched it later (Lasted half hour before turning it off) and in all honesty the BB producers shouldnt be worried at all.
Lostie!

For anyone wanting to know about the take me out spin off, it's basically BOTS but they show exclusive footage from the couples in that episode and meet up with them months later.
It's crap. Mark Wright hosts it with some random woman.

Gripping
the scenes where they made Gilly do a reconstruction of giving her boyfriend a blowjob were better than EastEnders' Live Week

I said it would get at most the same as ex on the beach, big brother has nothing to worry about. Most people on twitter were saying how rubbish it was.
