I don't like him as a person but I appreciate the extremes of what he's brought to the house more than a lot of his kind before him for some reason. And the notion that he'll win is absurd to me at this point - if he carries on at this rate and there aren't any convenient twists to save him (yeah good luck with that one), he'll be gone with a VTE within a month.

Yes, he & the new housemates are the only ones providing conflict & arguements.
Not a bunch of HM's pretending to be friends for a few weeks.

His jokes/comments/opinions may piss people off or make them laugh in certain situations, but if he is not careful he could be removed by BB.

eh I'm not getting my hopes up, we had our last minute winner switch earlier this year with Katie Price/Katie Hopkins. Marc is the natural successor to Jim Davidson, Helen, Gary Busey, and what was nearly Katie Hopkins. The show's going to push for this hard.

Yes you can take it all at face value, easily take offence and have a sense of humour failure.

But as an outsider watching it unravel, he's a comedy character and in truth, not such a bad guy.

Just when he's apologising to BB, don't see that as him intimidating BB.

But his apologies look genuine enough to me.
My guess is he opens his mouth without thinking purely out of habit.

..I'm not sure that I would describe him as a bully as such but with the arms around thing..?...as Withano and Amy have said...it's more of a 'dominance/control' thing...a kind of I can make you laugh or I can make you cry, type thing..?...you don't have to 'appear mean' all of the time to exert dominance over someone, there is 'charm' in involved as well..


..anyway, I don't know that I dislike him as such but can't say that I like him either just because of how he is, he's interesting but I think very controlling and doesn't tolerate anyone not 'bowing down' to him, Marc the big man....
