He is a nobody. Although, he's had more press than a lot of the other contestants in there. He's on all the glossy's etc.

Famous for nothing, but still famous, I guess. See Paris Hilton.

The only people who get booed are the ones people are jealous of or the ones who are total d*cks (Kitten, Donny etc.) I'm sure Jack would fall into the first category.
