It's an embarrassment, the faces showing up on the digital screen is so dire.

I want to like Robyn but her trolling of fans does my head in
If she's serious this is honestly awful

Is she trolling or is she deliberately trying to piss off viewers?

@Kassting is the NOMINATION WHEEL COMING back... If not you whoever is in charge of that has already ****ed up this season....
Robyn Kass @Kassting · 3h3 hours ago
@Savannah_Posh I'm so happy the wheel is gone!!!
Petty Games @Savannah_Posh · 3h3 hours ago
@Kassting so that means we are getting the same nomination scheme that we got last year? .... Great
Robyn Kass @Kassting · 2h2 hours ago
@Savannah_Posh some fans care about game play, competitions & HGs and some care most about a wheel. #i❤️BBfans

@matthewislife @Kassting @Savannah_Posh not having the wheel takes away from the suspense we got. Less entertaining. Which I thought is what u didn't want.
What kinda outright disrespect to the fans

Justice for the wheel, I enjoy the part where they pull out the keys tbh.

It's just a wheel though?
The nomination keybox was sooooo melodramatic and suspenseful, and it was one of the few things that the show was doing right.
BBUS is a festering pile of **** and there are so many things that need to be fixed, but all they're doing is making the nomination process less suspenseful. It's dumb.

The tense bit at the end :flutter: It's not really tense anymore.

But does it actually hold any significance whatsoever to the show or the way the game is played?

It was exciting for the viewer tho rather than a screen reveal

Yeah that's why I love it :flutter: it makes the nomination more interesting. If I was on the usa bb, the 1st thing I would like to do is pull out the key from the wheel:laugh:

But it's removal is surely causing enough tension and drama to make up for it :hee:

I must be a new breed of BBUS fan then, because I hold no feelings for the wheel whatsoever, it didn't have any impact on me at all tbh

It can make HMs who hate each other give each other keys :flutter:
I'm sure Aaryn or GM had to give Candice a key once :hehe:

In all fairness, I'm not all that invested in the American one, so that's probably why i don't see the significance of the wheel

It is an injustice that the nomination wheel is gone. It was one of those integral parts of the show that made BBUS unique.
Macie Lightfoot
10-06-2015, 08:04 PM
It's just insulting on principle that of all things that they think need fixing, THAT is one of them. Like, this isn't going to improve the season at all and it's BBUS so the show will still be atrocious and yeah.

Somebody has to be the bad guy. - Paul Jackson
:joker:
But I'm gonna have to disagree here / agree with Liam. I realized I only liked the wheel cause of BB tradition over the years. As I like things after I get used to them. The new nominations system grew on me during BBCAN3 and I'm happy it's staying tbh. It saves a little bit of time for the other aspects of the show. Probably over a minute of time saved when there's a full 16 houseguests. That could be a couple extra good clips involving the game.
To me there is no difference in suspense... if anything the wheel lessens the suspense by dragging it on. Or if a possible nominee was already picked like halfway through the wheel spin, then the nominees become obvious anyway and we're just waiting for the rest of the keys to be pulled :joker:

I definitely agree with this but after seeing two seasons with the new nomination system I'm fine with it now.

Actually there's quite a bit of game and bitchiness that can be played within the constraints of the nomination wheel. The order an HoH places the keys in the box usually reflects who they do and don't like and can expose alliances, or is a complete masquerade, or even better...can produce moments like Scumanda's realisation that one of her and McCrae were guaranteed to be nominated, and that then they were both nominated <3
It was suspenseful and also symbolic in much the same way the torches in Survivor are. You get your key to the house, and you're safe. They may want to make the show more ~hi tech~ but when the house itself is ten ****ing years old and they've only just upgraded to HD maybe they should prioritise modernising these things as opposed to one thing, that as Troy said, didn't need changing. The saying 'if it ain't broke' has never been more appropriate.

They should do like in the Glass House where everyone stood in front of Kinect and had to SMASH the faces of whoever they nommed

Glass house noms were embarrassing and cringe at the same time. Even though i kind of liked the series. But the noms were presented badly.
