Where the hell did they come from? Were they told to do that?!

obvious going along with the act because it was obvious he was going to be fake evicted

Were they told to though or are they smarter than we all thought
Will.

they might have been told the result like a minute before so they could boo Mark

Marc's reactions were a bit suspect.
But then everything on this show is a bit suspect these days

Pretty obvious they were told to do that.
Makes sense so the other HM's don't wonder why he got evicted despite getting cheers.

Aisleyne didn't even walk through the door hence why theyve never had to do this

Yeah it seemed very forced. The immense cheers after the reveal confirms that

Whatever it was it might well be a good thing, it will fool them all into thinking that he has really gone. Harry will be absolutely gloating.

Exactly. They'd have rumbled the twist had he gone out to those cheers.

When Brian and Helen entered the secret room. Marc looked like a five year olds height. Poor Marc. Little people have to compensate.

Agreed. I think it was clever

Fifa if they cheered him it would have made it very suspicious....of course they were told that.
I think it was great how Marc took it...all in his stride and then the cheers and revelation that he wasn't actually evicted was brilliant.
Marc hasn't been handed this on a plate...people love his straight talking. He has been great...I hope he wins...

The huge cheers point to it being an act.

It was. I'm loathe to give C5 credit but it was a good idea so as to hide the twist.

I thought it was well handled and he really looked pleased when he realised he wasn't leaving after all.

I have to admit that was one of the best crowds of Big Brother I've seen, they played their part so well and Marc knew they were simply having fun with him.
By the way, Emma basically confirmed it on BBBOTS, can't recall exactly what she said (others may) but it confirmed it for me that the crowd was told to do it.

Just ignore them mate, certain people like getting their tinfoil hats on when things don't go their way.

Beetlejuice doesn't watch anymore. He even went on a protest in Downing Street I believe and started a petition.
But he's still here so some bugger must've said his name 3 times in a row. :yuk:

He looked so confused when he came out to people booing like crazy while clapping him, smiling and waving at him. I thought it was hilarious.
And the crowd were definitely coached. They'd have been told in advance to chant the housemate going out's name when they patched into the house and Emma or someone would have announced to them it was Mark prior to connecting.

They didn't necessarily need to give the crowd a heads-up on who was going to be evicted, it's also possible that they could have been instructed to chant and boo whoever came out regardless of the crowd knowing in advance. They booed all three housemates when Emma was talking to the house before she announced who was leaving.

How'd they manage to get rid of him in the end again? ;)
Ask Jarrod when he gets back on.

What's pathetic about all of this is that if the crowd weren't so nasty and over the top and they would cheer most housemates like used to be the case, then they wouldn't have to ask them to boo everyone because booing would still be an unusual thing.
I mean just put that into context, they probably asked them to boo all three nominees. It just sounds stupid.

Channel 5 wants us to hate the HMs. They want the public to boo and hiss and chant. We're not supposed to actually like them, they want us to hate them and then vote to evict them.

Oh I know that, and part of the reason why I hate vote to evict so much is because it's a negative system that festers negative feelings and puts a downer on the whole show. There's so much unnecessary and over the top hatred and bile spewed on this forum and on social media every series that's truly depressing to read and it just helps perpetuate it
People shouldn't be encouraged to hate other people, it's just a TV show and it's ridiculous
Where the hell did they come from? Were they told to do that?!
..I think that the crowd were probably told/encouraged to 'chant out' the housemate that they thought would be going into the secret room and that was never really going to be anyone other than Marc so that's who was chanted...
