I can't think of a single larger housemate that hasn't walked out to boos or been booted early. They seem to be favoured to begin with but hated after a few weeks

Allison BB3 - Evicted over 2 men even though she was lovely

Gos - Teah he was boring but he still went at the first oppertunity

Laura - Underrated and evicted asap

Wolfy - loved and then hated and villafied

Becky - She got booed badly

Carole - First out in the final

Kinga - booed on exit

Jayne - hated and booted out asap

Belinda - hated and booted even tho she was lovely

Jack - Was loved now hated?

It's the producers fault for typecasting. They always cast the same stereotypical black girl, same food-obsessed fat person etc and they're always hated because society has been taught to hate that kind of behaviour.

You're right. That's what set BB apart from the other pretender reality shows but now C5 wants to make BB more and more like the other "reality" shows.

He was hated by people online cause they assumed he was going to get sympathy cause he was fat and (this bit was rightfully so) was probably going to be the Mr Nice Guy series bore so wouldn't deserve it

However, now that he isn't the series bore and is actually quite hilarious with his ridiculous aggression, he is still hated and it's rather silly

To be fair he hasn't helped himself. The reason the "fat" stuff has stuck around beyond us discovering he wasn't going to be like BB14 twins or Sam is because he makes such a ridiculously big deal about food. :laugh:

..hmmm, probably some people do have a 'hate' for bigger people in the same way that some people do with smaller/thinner people etc and different kinds of things.. but I don't think it's why housemates are booed or evicted earlier on if they are..I think that has more to do with their character...with Jack he just really hasn't offered much to the house for me, although I've liked him more recently as 'stroppy/tantrum Jack..'...but it's still kind of too little too late as having tantrums is quite small potatoes in a housemate now, haven't they all had those or most of them...so it's still not really adding anything to the house...also with Jack specifically, it's that he's seemed to feel that no one ever has a 'right' to nominate him, like he finds that unbelievable so therefore unjustified, like a rubbish nomination...


...what I do think though is that if a housemate is bigger and not liked or not popular for their personality...?...then the 'weight' thing is brought into it more as a way of insulting them and just not necessary...people don't really say...ughhh, that skinny housemate so much but just more criticise their character...
