she,s been institutionalised 11 times, attempted suicide several times,
During her stay in the Big Brother house, tabloid newspapers revealed that Grahame had battled with the eating disorder anorexia for the majority of her adolescence, and had attempted suicide by taking an overdose of paracetamol several times. The programme's decision to include a contestant with prior mental health issues was criticised in the media, with experts suggesting that she should not have been allowed to take part.[16] In addition, various behaviour exhibited by Grahame—such as a high susceptibility to cold; eating food with a teaspoon; looking for reassurance about her body shape and an obsessive need for bottled water—have been directly linked to her anorexia. Endemol, the company behind Big Brother, were accused of endangering their contestant’s mental state in favour of viewing figures and Deanne Jade, founder of the National Centre Of Eating Disorders, branded them "scurrilous"
and what do they do bring her back again. stupid

She's only in there for a week. I agree that she shouldn't have been in there the first time

she is back for a short period which i am sure is her choice.
as for not allowing her because of her mental state - ridiculous and that is discrimination.
she may well have problems but so have many of us and she is proof that life goes on so i am sure it will help people with these problems.

She's obviously moved on a bit from her eating disorder, you can tell she's in a better place.

To be fair back in the proper BB days they were supposed to vet people with any mental health issues for their own and their housemates' safety; being put under that much pressure could be really, really bad for some people

This, so proud of how much she's grown up

She's the only proper legend out of the three, TBH.
But, she's been on too much. I'm bored of her now.
Please, get someone else from BB7.

She was suffering from anorexia in 2011 not that long ago,

She's had more comebacks than herpes.
Not sure which is more annoying.

I feel sorry for her, her life has been hell, but she,s trying to live up to the [ who is she girl ] she was famous for, but it doesn't work any more, she,s 33 now, its old hat.

BB7 would not receive as much praise as it does without Nikki.

As long as Nicky's not sectioned (are people still sectioned anymore these days?), is over the age of consent, and willing to participate, it's nobodies business but her own what she does with her life. Least of all is it the business of some busy body health professional poking her nose in and expressing an uninformed opinion that I suspect would deeply upset and anger Nicky if she knew about it.

It clearly does still work for her, otherwise she wouldn't be there getting paid for it.
In the grand scheme of things, your opinion and others like it don't matter.

And is that worth risking a vulnerable womens life for :nono:

Aye, she is a 1 trick pony. I assume that's why BBOTS love her.

Of couse she knows about it, she will have been councelled before going on, some people are easily amused, I just find her very irritating.

I find her irritating too, but when we start stopping adults doing things, which don't harm anyone else, on a whim or on an opinion, we're well into a brave new world.

But she,s not a normal adult she has mental problems, she,s a disaster waiting to happen, to herself.

Possibly, but such a verdict can only be reached by a qualified psychiatrist who has counselled her not by us. It will be interesting if BBBOTS set Dr. Pam on the case next week.

She seems stable enough to handle it to me. Like she's a bit of a tosser but she's stronger than you're giving her credit.
Our past influences us but it can't eternally define us.

Surely the fact that she's been to hospital so many times (including since her last stint) and doesn't seem to have changed is fairly strong proof that she's not entirely stable?
And yes, of course they're likely to get Dr Pam to say on national TV 'this woman is likely to kill herself. Stay tuned for tomorrows HLs everyone!'
..I would hope that BB and psychologists/maybe her own psychologist..?...have not only okayed her to go on but are also monitoring her closely while she's there which is only one week so a very 'controlled and minimal risk..'....but I think for her or others who have suffered mental illnesses through their lives, the 'rejection' of not being able to do things because of being stigmatised by their illness could be very detrimental as well ..some of the children I have worked with have had mental illnesses diagnosed and the feeling that 'they can't' because of the label of their diagnosis makes them hate that diagnosis and who they are and prevents them from understanding it so disables with being able to try to control it with any help needed....any worrying 'signs' of her time in the house if that were to happen then obviously should be stepped in with straight away with BB....
I can't stand Nikki and wished she had not been brought back for what feels like the millionth time. However, unless she is deemed unsafe to herself or the community, there is no reason she cannot continue with her life and her work, which on this occasion is appearing on big brother.

100% agree. I've gotten no entertainment from her so far but to say she can't take part because of past and managed issues. Who are they, who ARE... etc
