no one can deny he's entertaining. well i'm sure some people will, but he's more entertaining than anyone else in there
and despite appearing to be a dick on the surface, he's actually a nice guy underneath it all, that just wants to be liked.

He's nowhere near it and is certainly not entertaining, imo anyway

He probably seems a lot better than he is because this series was dying a death before he entered tbh. He would have been a nobody in say..bb6.

That, i can agree with, there aren't many big characters in this series so he has definitely filled that role

Marc has what I like to call 'Perez-syndrome', the ability to irritate that isn't entertaining but grating and contrived.
Why he's in this series of Big Brother is beyond me, he would have worked better last year.

Someone who is naturally funny, not contrived try-hards, I'm not really a fan of forced humour on reality shows, I much prefer it to come organically.
Humour is always way more entertaining to me than drama or arguments.

they're stuck in a house for 3 months with a group of strangers, being filmed by 100+ cameras, 24 hours a day. the whole set up is hardly organic in itself is it

I didn't say it was? but that doesn't mean that things inside there can't be organic, I live for the unintentionally hilarious moments

No for me it's Deana from BB13 she was strong, charming and ruthless when she needed to be in that house that year or speidi if you want the prefect big brother villain.
Marc is just crude and offensive to watch.

I agree. And it just goes to show how much of an impact he has had on the house, when now that he has 'gone', the most entertaining thing the others can come up with is to vandalise property. If it was left up to them it would be a snoozefest, occasionally waking up to complain about something.

Goodish housemate in a Panto villian kind of way. He has livened the house up.
Awful personality wise from what I can see.

I second Liam. I don't like being fed aggressively with a spoon pushed down my throat. He's putting on a show, trying to hard, no depth is shown. One needs more than just annoy the housemates to become a legend.

Definitely NOT!!!!
Mark's the Channel 5 era BB producers idea of an 'instant legend'. They know he's like a performing monkey that they can spoon feed to the viewers very easily (in the same way that they used Helen just to create that sham of a "Detested cheap Hooker to Nations Sweetheart" farce with Helen last year!) and they now know that if people can be fooled by their Golden Gob****e then they can do the same thing with just about any mess of a wannabe and people will drink the Coolaid (and even order another bottle!).
Every Helen or Mark is just another nail in the BB coffin and every time they place another one of these stooges in the house we see more and more essential elements of BB dissapear (look what a joke 'nominations' have become this year!) so that they have more and more control of everything that goes on in the house and we as the viewers have less and less input!
All they want now from the viewers is their vote cash and their brainwashed viewership!
It just amazes me more every year just how willing people are to fall for the bull**** their feeding them! I used to think the Canadian and US BB's were full of manipulation but it pains me to say that they're all putting BB UK to shame in every way!
I wouldn't be surprised if they're forced to add one of those TOWIE/MIC style "the housemates are real people but certain elements of this programme may have been altered or staged for your viewing pleasure".
I was really hoping they'd right some of the terrible wrongs they did last year with this years's BB but they've just taken it to an even worse level of fakery and mega-manipulation!:idc:

Funny how we are all differenht isn't it? I have not laughed once at them, one housemate who stood out for me and was unintentionally funny was Ben Duncan,he didn't mean to be ,he just was,I cried at some of his antics, that day when that American trainor was losing patience with him during a task, and Ben just casually asked him if he had any gum,was so funny as he meant it,lol, and nhis Glee song was funny too,I haven't seen anything like this from these housemates, they are all pretty flat, except for Marc and Helen at the moment.Must admit though I have had a giggle at some of Jacks outbursts.

Marc to me, is funny in the same way a clown is funny (I don't find clowns funny but I assume his fans do?) they're both loud, both take up the centre of attention and perhaps they both purposely irritate others. If nobody payed a clown or Marc any attention, they'd just be a dick laughing at themselves in the mirror.. There isn't any wit or intelligence with their humour I suppose is my main point.

It was an assumption, I wasn't telling you that you found clowns funny! I just personally don't see a difference, it wasn't an attack.
I don't think Nikki is similar to a clown, she's funny to me because she's a fully grown child! Marc, I assume, is funniest to most people who like him when he's irritating others and doing things to get a reaction.. Like a clown..

You said Nick was one of the most naturally funny people in the house and one of the most entertaining.
You're the one that needs to respond more intelligently.
What did you find so funny or interesting about him? The bit where he was lying under the duvet in the bed or the bit where he was lying under the duvet in the garden or the bit where he was lying under the duvet on the sofa?

Okay.
Nick, IN MY OPINION is the most naturally funny person in there, he comes out with some things that make me laugh incredibly hard, the way he is, the way he carries himself, his little quirks, I find that funny, whereas i do not find Marc's forced persona funny in the slightest, it's not entertaining, it's not comical, it's disgusting and it's hard to suffer through, some may say that he has saved the series for them, that's perfectly fine, everyone is entitled to have an opinion, but my opinion is that he is the worst thing about this series.
I'd rather have a house full of Nicks, Joels, Chloes, Jades and Eileens, than a house full of Marcs.

The only way that'll happen is if he reveals he has a concentration camp full of orphans somewhere. He's as memorable as toast. He'll be remembered as "that guy who used kick about with that bird who used show off her minge"

He is vile irreverent foul mouthed and show offish I think him and Charley MUST be the worst housemates ever in BB. There are nights he sickens me to my stomach. It was like people championing Helen last year. A horrible sarcastic bitch now they are championing Marc who is even WORSE
