I don't get it
As a housemate, I find him domineering and insufferable.
As a person, I find him cocksure and mean-spirited.
Enlighten me please.
Jake.

Found him funny before but if he's going to be joined to Helen by the hip then he can do one

He has been the only housemate (until this legends twist, as I find all 3 of those funny) that has consistently provided amusement. He's a great housemate, always winding others up and having a laugh, it's just a shame that he is in this series and not a better one.
I don't think he is a particularly bad person either, it's very rare that you come across someone like that on Big Brother.

I sort of get his sense of humour, as abrasive as he is he generally seems like a good person  I'm going off him as a housemate the more he's rammed down our throats, though.

I like him as a housemate tbh, I don't think he is evil, bully or anything horrible just says some silly things. When he says stuff I can't take it seriously. He only has a problem with Harry(I don't think it's because of her being a female)Not everyone gets on do they. But I hope he doesn't stay with Helen all the time.

He's intelligent and has a good read on people in the house. If he came into the house with the abrasive comments toned down, everyone would love him. He just pushes things too far on pretty much a daily basis. If you put those times aside, he's entertaining to watch for the rest of the stuff he does. He pushes the buttons of house guests and gets them off their asses and more involved. This is a game show! Too many of them are taking it for granted and sitting around doing nothing. It's nice to have someone in that prodding them and getting them to show actual emotions other then cuddling and being happy all the time.

I don't like Marc. I think in theory he would be a good addition, but he's just not very entertaining and his 'stirrings' haven't created much entertainment either. I find he tries too hard and even though he's constantly claiming he doesn't care what anyone else thinks, I don't believe him and he seems too desperate. I also don't find him funny and I don't even think he's rude - my dad is way worse than that - I just don't think he's funny.

..actually..(I didn't think that I would ever say this..)..but I've liked him more since he went into the bunker, he's nowhere near being a favourite as such but a few times when he's been watching the other housemates, he's really been absorbing stuff, or seemed to be and I think maybe would have seen things in slightly a different light if it wasn't for Helen feeding so much negativity into everything ..and yeah I mean Harry in that I think he really took in that she never took any pleasure in his going as such, just more a relief because of their conflict but then Helen was in his ear twisting it all around and saying...oh Harry really hates you, she can't stand that others have a friendship with you...where did Harry say that/that was te exact opposite of what she said which was that she accepted that many others didn't feel the same as her about him...
...and yeah I agree actually, some of the things that he's done and said have made me cringe...I think most especially the thing with Sam when he said it would turn him on to see her cry..?...I mean they really barely know each other so that's totally not something that ever should be said and there is no positive way to interpret that as banter of a relationship that never was...but I don't think he has a level of spite or nastiness that Helen has and don't think he's a bad person and he does have a good balance of charm as well...so yeah a bit 'rare' you could say....

This is exactly what I don't get,why would you dislike someone just because they like someone you don't?

I like Marc as a housemate,he is what BB needs, not nice namby pamby all sitting in a happy house, when he was 'evicted' I liked him as a person too as I saw he does care and he let us see a nicer side.

The clips Ive watched Helen wasn't with him so I don't think he will be joined at the hip with her he can cope without her.

That's because his antics united everyone against him lmfao it's cause and effect.
Not to continue to complain about 4 in/4 out but what a serious downgrade it was to lose the twins and Harriet for Marc and Simon. The series actually had potential but now it's an abomination.

As a housemate. He doesn't seem too bad a guy underneath it all though, so maybe should have voted both, BUT I think I would find him infuriating in real life. I have mates who are quite similar (though not QUITE as full on) but it took a while to get used to them I tell you

He's a bully, and that's that.
Glad u cleared that up
Marc is the most interesting HM in years, a guy who looks and behaves at times like a typical ladish stripper type but whos actually a scientist into comic books, he has many contradictory character traits that make him interesting. Much more so than the other bores and fakes in there...
And I get the impression he is genuinely loyal and has integrity. Despite Joel not being his biggest fan he respects Joel cause he is honest

hhhhmmm I just don't know. On the one hand he's a really interesting HM but I hate alot of the things he says. He claims to be full of banter and calling girls "cum buckets" and other lovely names like that is apparently part of that banter yet he didn't dare call Nikki or Helen a derogatory name like that so he's essentially a chicken s**t who saves his offensive "banter" for people he sees as weaker than him
