Is anyone feeling a bit sorry for Jack?

Only due to Nikki's lies to him, not in general

I'm not a fan, but Nikki was just being spiteful tonight IMO.

I'm kinda torn between finding it incredibly cruel, and thinking its going to be fun seeing him when he is booed.

Come friday, I think I will be firmly in the 'its cruel' camp.

I Really want to say no, however the mother in me feels bad for him, he is so immature and naive.
I just don't think he knows how to handle stress and situations.

Yep, I don't think he's has a malicious bone in his body and a lot of times he bitches about other people, it seems like he's trying to impress the ones he's chatting to. The game of big brother isn't really for him, he should have taken the car.

I feel a lot sorry for him, for the way he is being set up for a huge disappointment. For the way people talk about him because he is overweight. He hasn't done anything terrible and frankly any ordinary boy who works in MacDonalds would be thrilled and fascinated if people tell him he is popular and has a big twitter following.

A little, i admit. He is very quick to believe whatever is said to him. Quite clueless, iŽd say.

If Nikki had been saying this to someone like Cristian she would be likely all the bad names under the sun.

Because she is saying the 'lies' to Jack, she is likely wonderful.
She could have been honest to his face and showed her dislike to him rather than tell blatant lies to him.
That is far from being anyone nice at all.

Having said all that, the way he took it all in, despite hearing what she had said about him from the bunker, was near unbelievable.

Not comfortable with Nikki (but I never am). However, not a fan of Jack either - his language is awful and I cannot bear the dressing gown...

In a general sense nah he's deluded and big headed BUT I do think Nikki is being quite nasty and spiteful. He's not done anything that bad to warrent trying to embarress him.

I don't like Jack as a housemate but I do feel so sorry for him, primarily due to the comments Nikki has been making. I feel they're a bit malicious and he is going to feel like a fool when he gets out. I'm a sucker for feeling sorry for people, even if I don't like them.

I think what Nikki is doing should largely be ignored. Its shown her up to be quite nasty. However Jack has been on a downward spiral for me since the car twist, he changed, and not for the better. He has set himself up for a Winston like moment. Whether it sees him evicted, that depends if its a double eviction or not (it could be) and who he ends up against.

15-06-2015, 11:31 PM
Not regarding the Nikki thing really (although maybe slightly) cause it was quite funny, but in general? Yes, cause I do think the hate for him is completely over the top and unjustified. He isn't that bad. He could've been a lot worse a housemate had he turned into what we all assumed he would be, but he isn't. Seems like a decent enough guy that gets a bit aggressive sometimes and believes his own hype because of the car twist, but oh well. He isn't Cristian ffs

No, he is the architect of his own downfall. he is Wolfy 2.0.

He's an awful housemate with anger issues and the way he targets the less popular housemates eliminates any possible sympathy I might have had for him. He's just a bitch and worst of all he's not even an entertaining one.

I feel for the guy, I'm not sure why he's getting a harder time than the others, whether that's lazy (is he the only one?) or he's over weight (why should that deem a person's character?) or he bitches about the other housemates (is he the only one)

I love Nikki, but I'm not happy by the way she has gone about this. Sure Jack believing her might look unbelievable, but this is BB and it's hard to read if someone really is taking it all in because no doubt their minds are spinning with all the twists and turns.

Sure Jack believing her might look unbelievable
Well Nicki says Jack believes her.

But does he ?

Who knows but he can hardly say "That's rubbish !" to a BB legend.
Let alone take the risk of sticking 2 fingers up to a potential 200,000 fanbase.

Maybe he's just going with the flow.

I felt sorry for him when Marc and the ex housemates were revealed on screen.

I honestly expected Jack to react similar to how Danny reacted, in an "I'm not bothered" or "bring it on" attitude.

But instead he looked absolutely terrified, and when Danny was there holding his hand Jack just seemed like a scared little boy who looked like his world had just crumbled when he watched Nikki Grahame express her dislike for him on screen.

I think if it was just Marc on his own re-entering the house we might have seen a different reaction and maybe he would have gone on a bit more like Danny.

I think the fear with a few of them is mainly because of the shock of seeing the 3 ex housemates and not really Marc so much. Jack looked most upset when Nikki and Helen bitched about him on the screen. I think some of the housemates look up to these ex housemates as 'stars' (although why anybody would be starstruck by a bb contestant is beyond me) so their opinion matters so much more to them.

I'm hoping that before the week is out the normal housemates get over the shock of these ex housemates and Marc's return, that they stop appearing a bit starstruck and start seeing the 'legends' as people who are just the same as them (reality tv show contestants) and that they stop being scaredycats and just act themselves or stick up for themselves if needs be.

Agree with this, i've always liked Jack, seems like a normal lad to me, a bit highly strung, and grumpy but that makes me laugh:laugh:

Yes I do. I really liked Jack at the start but the whole car episode went to is head sadly - he should have taken it and gone I think. He's not a bad lad and I think being picked on for being overweight is awful. Though he does need to get out of the flipping dressing gown and do a bit more. I think Nikki has been really nasty winding him up and I hope she get her just deserts she should have stuck to her original plan of telling him he was unpopular and leave it at that imo.

If the producers appetite for drama isn't sated this week they might try to cause some by playing back the bit where Nikki was saying "I fcking hate her, who does she think she is?!", mimicking Helen saying "go the fck home" and the whole "I'm Beyonce" thing.

Not sure would Helen find it funny and laugh it off or would she be annoyed and cause sparks?

Most of his current problems are of his own making but I do feel some sympathy for him.Even at the start when popular he always appeared fish out of water.

He has not done a lot wrong just shown a more grumpy side to his personality. I like the dressing gown and hat bit.

Until we know the full noms its not possible to speculate but as things currently stand then him against harry I would not wish to call as I think it would be very close and i would like both to stay longer.

When he was on 'Deal or no Deal', he acted like the self appointed go to guy, with all his advice, he even fooled 'Edmonds' Jack salt of the earth do anything for anyone, he never mentioned his 'Gambling Addiction' on there, I don't think Mr. Edmonds would have found Jack quite so likable, the funny thing was he was full of it when he was giving out percentages etc, to others and how they should play the game, but when he played he took the money and run...pretty much what he hopes to do on BB...

He's got a bit moany and cocky recently.

He could do with a wake up call.

It would do him good in the long run. He's not a bad bloke deep down, but he needs a little shake up for the greater good.
