I found this article in The Sun today

POPSTARS: The Rivals finalist JAVINE HYLTON is delaying the release of her debut solo single to avoid paying thousands of pounds in royalties to ITV bosses.

The contract she signed with programme makers Granada insists she has to pay them around 40 per cent of her earnings.

But the deal expires in May, leaving her free to put out the debut single and album she has in the bag.

Javine, who has signed a £1million deal with Innocent Records, has been in the studio with producer RICHARD X, who worked with the first Popstars runners-up, LIBERTY X, on their new single Being Nobody. She told me: “The sound is influenced by garage and R&B.”

The beauty was hotly tipped to make it into the Popstars girl band GIRLS ALOUD but missed out in the final vote to SARAH HARDING. Many insiders said Javine would do better as a solo artist.

Girls Aloud will release their second single, No Good Advice, next month.

I really hope that Javine is successful, she deserves to be because she was one of the best singers from Popstars.
I know that I will definetely buy her music.:dazzler:
