I'd say it is pretty obvious the producers stepped in to save Jack. They were gunning for him while in the bunker then suddenly he is off the hook.

Jade and Brian made out after 2 full days of 24hr hanging out. It's like no one who watches the show has ever kissed a stranger in a club. She's not being skanky. In the real world you'd have to be on at least like 4 dates to have spent that much time together.
