I don't think he is really, it was just when his mum went in and told him how wonderful he was doing (which I suppose all mums would do), then she gave Marc a kiss (yuk) and said thanks for looking after my boy (which I assume was because Marc went up to him after the bunker and told him how brill he was, all because he didn't rejoice in Marc's exit.
