8 people can join. First come first serve. If there is enough interest, we could go with two separate competitions of 8 each.

Basically you'll choose your team of 2 in a draft format. Out of the 8 people, an order to pick houseguests will be randomly drawn (I'll get the order from a random number generator).

The picks will go: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

The 2 that you pick will be your BBUS17 players. You'll get points each week based on their comp wins & survival.

At the end of the season, whichever person that has the most total points between their 2 choices wins.

Post here ASAP if you want to join. If you do join, keep checking back as often as you can before/during the draft.

If you take over 24 hours to make your pick, you can end up being skipped (but can still make your pick as soon as you can). This is to try to finish the draft before BB17 starts.

There will be "Special Houseguest 1st Choice" and "Special Houseguest 2nd Choice" available to pick. Any surprise houseguests will start getting points as soon as they enter the game even if they aren't technically in the game (example: coaches would get +2 for surviving each eviction even if they're ineligible to be put on the block). The risk of taking a special houseguest is if by chance there are no extra houseguests besides the 14, you will then only have 1 person representing your team. Could be a high risk / high reward situation there.

He's not my favorite either but he seems like the safest bet to get the most points. Shane and Cody are the people he gets compared to the most and Cody got 2nd and Shane got 4th these people don't tend to get evicted early so it makes the most sense for me to draft him.

So here is the first ever twist in the BB fantasy competition games. We all just drafted our teams. In the draft choices were two “special houseguests” and they were special picks indeed.

I mentioned how by taking a special houseguest, you go against the risk of there being no extra houseguests this season besides the 14 already revealed. Also, you are picking the unknown. No idea about who these houseguests would be, and again, if there are even any extra on the season. That’s all true but there is a bit of a plus-side that was left as a surprise. Those who picked them will be rewarded for their risks, with bonus points. Special Houseguest #1 starts with a +7 advantage and #2 starts with a +5 advantage. No matter what, the people who picked special houseguests will have at least 7 and 5 points guaranteed for one of their draft picks. Expect the unexpected!

I decided not to reveal it beforehand just to see who would be willing to take the risk without knowing the advantage. (In this case one of the specials were left to the end cause no one else wanted to take the risk :laugh:)

These two people (Calderyon & Mokka) now have a somewhat small but potentially very advantageous reward if there's a close finish at the end of this game. I thought it’s a good way to introduce a twist to these games. :tongue: I wasn’t going to pick the special houseguests no matter what as obviously I knew what the advantage for them was going to be and it wouldn’t have been fair. :joker:

Won't be around tomorrow and the next couple of days other than maybe quickly checking in once or twice. Just so the two with special houseguest choices know: Calderyon will have to pick by 24 hours after Thursday's episode. This might change to after tonight's episode if extra houseguests are already revealed tonight.

If special houseguests are revealed after the veto competition or first eviction then they won't be getting points for the first eviction survival. If they are revealed before the veto comp then they will get any points they earn this week, even if they are immune from going on the block, including future weeks.

I'll post here if anything changes with tonight's episode.

BotB wins will count for +2. The two initial HOH's will get +3 and the final HOH will get +2 more for +5 total. I'm assuming it'll last for a while but obviously whenever it ends the scoring will go back to normal.

EXTRA HOUSEGUESTS / TWIN TWIST

So far not sure if there will actually be extra houseguests besides Liz's twin? We'll see if there's any mentioned tomorrow. If Liz survives until her twin enters the game, then the twin would be available to pick. IF both Calderyon and Mokka already used up their special houseguest pick then Liz's twin would count as a third houseguest for whoever picked Liz. Any points the twin might earn before she actually enters the game goes to Liz's total since they are representing just her for now. (right now they count as one individual competitor for HOH/POV/surviving eviction/etc.)

As of now my team seems to be a little on the shaky ground with both HG being target of the other side. On the plus side of things, i think i have a member on both sides of the house.

Three of the most solid teams at the moment are: Meg & James, John & Steve and Clay & Shelli.

Yeah definitely. I think Vanessa is the most deserving though, she's played the best game this season in my opinion.
