View Full Version : Is this series really a mess?
It seems as though alot of people are thinking it with the way it's all being handled this year. Do you think it has been a complete shambles or are you happy with the way things have gone i.e all the last minute (In terms of what we know) changes to whats happening with twists etc?

at the end of the day BB is a competition..............so if rules are changed mid
course to suit certain entrants ............you're ****ed
if some entrants enter mid course with advantage over others........you're ****ed
if competition length /direction is only known to organisers who like to change at
a whim again you're ****ed

Rylan and Emma spent the last week telling us Time Warp would end on Friday.

This "Timebomb" twist is a mess too
"Tonight we're going to FREEZE TIME and keep the timewarp housemates in the house!!!!!1111!!!!!!!!1111!!!!"
It's just used as an excuse for obvious manipulation to happen.

It has been a mess from the start. We never really knew what we were voting for on day 1 (When Showbiz was evicted), and since then the producers have been making it up as they go allow. It's awful. Complete shambles.

People who don't think this show is a mess must be on the stuff Helen thinks Victor is

It was never any good. It was an appalling cast featuring older women playing big sisters to the younger brother boys.
The rewards/punishments on the opening night were ridiculous. The nominations were being meddled with as per usual. Still no one knows whether it's the two or more with the most votes or anyone with 2. A complete shambles from the moment it began

Strange Big Brother that sees new housemates kicked out to put former housemates in.
Opted for option 2.
It could have been a good series if BB hadn't started their inevitable downslide of too much messing around with nominations and bringing back past housemates who were past C4 series housemates not even C5 ones, and referring to them as Legends. Never bring in past housemates unless to interact in a task imo and maybe not even then. BB mess with formula just a bit too much. And outside contact is becoming just a joke now. And BB's 'We can change the rules at any time' is just a cop-out.
I accept the days are gone when it was a social experiment with un-cluedup housemates, but that is no excuse for all the tampering now, when it's viewers using their hard earned pennies to vote and their favourites don't stand a chance because of BB over interference.

I would have loved the 4 evictees to have stayed in and watched drama unfold naturally but let's be honest Big Brother needs all the viewers it can get or it will get axed sooner than later so I can see production had no choice. I do still think it's all over the place excusing 4in4out. I guess thats SHOWBIZ for you.

People really need to stop defending the start of this show. It has been one disaster after another. Terrible casting. Meddling with nominations. Evictions without public votes. No live coverage. Changing of the rules for no rhyme nor reason or any explanation. Everything that started the destruction of the show was in display on the very first night. It's just that it has got worse and worse since then.
Everything viewers have asked for more of, they have got less. Everything they have asked for less of, they have got more. This is an interactive show and they have over 5 years built a brick wall up between the show and the fans and driven them away. Hence the poor viewing figures which no amount of desperate stunts are going to rescue them from.

I only saw a bit at the beginning, missed a couple of weeks, then came back to it. Everything I've seen has been a mess. They've frigged with the format too much. I hate the noms twists every week and putting in last year's winner because she's a spiteful, argumentative **** is just tedious. And now Marc's immune from nomination again. Bored with it.

Regardless of you, I or anyone (for that matter) disagreeing with defending the show from the start, surely everyone has the right to express their feelings/opinions on this.
We're all fans of BB which is why we are here. Take away that right to defend and what do we talk about?
