Marc has livened up the show, thank God! Do you really want a show where most the HMs lie under duvets, slouch around in dressing gowns and sit in groups having cosy chats with each other? Certainly not. Marc and Helen have shaken the place up and by golly it needed it or some dullard would win the show once again having done NOTHING!

I have met Marc a few times at work events and he's always come across as a really nice lad.......but always up for a laugh!!

Some of the arguements have been instigated by Nikki, Brian and Danny, yet only Marc and helen are held accountable for them.
Has anyone stopped to consider that although Danny and Cristian are boring, they are not dumb and can figure out that anyone involved in a row with Helen Wood is going to garner public sympathy. Just a thought.

I don't think him terrorising people he knows won't fight back,especially when BB help him and Helen to trap them so as they can continue to abuse them,so not ordinary arguing

it's plain abuse by cowards who only do it when BB gives them an unfair advantage,

the same rules don't apply to them and they get given helping hand to abuse people who are called in to the diary room

if they did much less than Marc or Helen

I don't find any of that abuse,especially when they know the people they are abusing are already really upset.

I don't find any of that entertaining.I've been saying for years,why can't they get housemates in with more intelligence who have the imagination

Re. before the 4 in, 4 out. I cannot disagree enough with there being much entertainment prior. The sexual assault consisted of about 20 minutes of one show and wasn't at all pleasant to watch, hardly entertaining in any respect. The debate task caused a stir but again, was just as manufactured as anything which has followed so such criticisms of either are hypocritical. Jade had a few arguments with the likes of Eileen and the Twins (due to discussing nominations with Nick) but that really was the peak of it. Every highlight show seemed to centre around Jade and mainly her friendship/relationship with Nick. It was a complete and utter bore up to that point and we were (my girlfriend and I) seriously waning. The 4 in, 4 out gave it some seriously needed life for us, moreover Marc has. Least he has a bit of gumption and energy unlike so many/the rest in there. I don't feel he gets the credit he deserves for what he has done for this series.

This is pretty much a direct response to my post so I'll address it.

I'm definitely not justifying a sexual assault as entertainment (though it was a crazy finish to one of the weirdest BBUK relationships ever), but just as evidence that a lot happened in the first two weeks despite people trying to play it off otherwise. A frightening amount of people are pretending like the show was some big love in and everyone was too boring and got along too well (the myth that the show itself is trying to perpetuate) when that's completely incorrect.

Marc definitely gets the credit he deserves from a lot of people on here because all he's done is help this series go to ****. All the conflict revolving him (and Helen too, I'll throw her in since they're two sides of the same coin right now) is not only forced, but repetitive and boring. Like cool, you ~tell it how it is~ and it usually ends with you screaming at someone and calling them a fat **** or a dirty slag. That's really not that impressive to me, sorry!
