View Full Version : Depending on Who Wins Could this be the Best Series Yet?

I don't think I've been more compelled by a single series to date. So dramatic and volatile, with 'good' and 'bad' characters alike. In spite of sloppiness on the part of production, this could easily go down as the most memorable and certainly watchable series thus far.

Do you prefer Howard The Duck to The Godfather?

Most talked about but for the wrong reasons, defo not the best, that's for sure. Too much producer interference.

No, even if my favourite Joel/Chloe wins, this series will always be rubbish.

I can't tell whether you're trolling or being serious...
I guess if Chloe wins then this season will not be totally irredeemable. Too bad Marc has the win on lock

A relatively good casting wrecked by the production of the show tbh.

Even my most liked housemate in the house (and I don't think I have one since Jade left) winning this won't save this shambolic series. It's so wrong in so many ways.

Maybe the best series ever if you started watching Big Brother UK in 2014...

For me, it hasn't the slightest possible chance of being the best series.
It could get to maybe 3 or 4 from being the worst but that will be thanks only to the fact Marc went in when he did.

Marc and Helen could get kicked out today and it would still be the worst series yet.

Marc being immune bc Time Warp week is on pause is probably the moment I for sure knew this was worse than 12 and 15

A great series for me has to be a Channel 4 type of Big Brother but we are never ever going to get that are we? re-watching BB7 makes me feel sad about how much BB has changed into some show that looks scripted now. Twist every week to help their favourite HM

No. The winner doesn't determine the quality of the series. See: Anthony.

I don't think this is best series ever, I think when the move from C4 to C5 I think BB14 was better than this one but it's my 2nd favourite since the move, BB9 is still my old time favourite I don't think I'll ever change my mind about that.

No a series isn't just good for the winner as proven with BB15 one of my favourite winners with Helen but the series will always be one of the worst in history.
This series hasn't been too bad I don't think but it's certainly not a 'classic' or one which will be remembered as being as gem. It's not as bad as some series though like BB4, BB9, BB11, BB12 and BB15. Those five are truly hideous

Even if Marc and Helen got removed tomorrow for poor behavior and some how Nikki Grahame ended up winning this series it still wouldn't be anywhere close to being the best. Nikki winning would probably be the only way that it doesn't end up being the worst series ever.
I have enjoyed it. It's had good characters and storylines but the sloppiness of production and producer manipulation has been the worst ever.

It had a great start. On the launch we were all excited about the cast, the house, even the theme. But along the way it all got messy. The tasks have been great. A few of the twists have also been great. I even liked the time warp housemates going in, but they have outstayed there welcome, and influencing too much in the house. The ex housemates going back in as part of the freeze task was great, but also in the freeze tasks having people familiar to the housemates works so much better. But what has gone wrong is too many people have gone far too soon, and some very good housemates have left while a lot of boring people remain. As soon as the 4 in 4 out twist happened that's when everything changed. The worst part for me is the fact we have lost Jade. What is truly shocking is the fact that there hasn't been actual nominations yet in the diary room. That for me is disgraceful because that's fundamentally what big brother is about. The production fixing things has been all too clear for is all to see and it's completely ruined the series now. So much so I can't wait for it to end and for the celebrity one to start. The only housemates worth anything in there are Joel, Marc and Nick. I do like Chloe but she keeps fading on to background and in starting to like Harry but she will be a goner this week. All the rest of the housemates are awful and the ex housemates need to leave ASAP! So yeah this is one of the worst series even though it started with the potential to be one of the best. Shame!
