I think Harry is a control freak (hence her line of work) and Nick at first glance appears so malleable, but underneath all that nervousness and vagueness, he knows his own mind.

Harry imho is one of those women in sex industry who brazenly delude themselves and critics into thinking it's empowering, but are harmed by it and actually hate men. When a "nice guy" like Nicklaus comes along she wants to control him, be cruel to him, test him, make demands on him, be passive aggressive against him and ultimately punish him for the crimes that other men have inflicted upon her. She will trst him to unrealistic expectations to set him up to fail. Having said that, ner one valid point is that Nick is disloyal/ doesn't back her up, but her point becomes invalid as 30 mins before she says she doesn't want his support.
