Um, I'm sure they all want some kind of career in the media so your attempts at making Marc look bad have failed.

That was obvious, he's tried to be famous in Ireland in a reality tv show already

:joker: He didn't say bombarding him at all,do people forget others watch it too,he said he's had his agent on the phone a lot ,and Dan said Marc was probably the housemate out of all of them who would have the biggest career,if your going to diss him ,get it right,or did you forget that bit.

Then you are naive to put it politely...

Nobody nowadays on BB is in it for the experience they nearly all have agents or aspirations to earn some form of money off the back of it.

Which is fine but none of them are just there for the experience havent been since BB3 tbh

The only career he might get is modelling Y-Fronts..

Marc actually deserves a career in showbiz over the vast majority of them if you ask me. He's fun and actually very bright and talented. With the right guidance he could go a long way.

He'd certainly write a good column. Perhaps not one people would agree with most of the time but controversial and entertaining.

Good Marc deserves a career after BB. He has a head on him.

I hope Marc and Helen get together.

The Beano does not do a column.

Well reality TV is hardly a huge sell in Ireland anyway. I mean it was one of the channel's more successful shows and he is "Irish Famous" as he made fun of before hand. With a population of 4 million it's not to hard to be known on our little Island.

That's a pity for Danny, Jack, Cristian and Chloe (among others).

They won't be able to read of their exploits in the house when it's all over.

What a delightful couple they would make. A match made in hell...they wouldn't last 5 minutes...they would end up killing each other.

Dan Wootton of all people too, Marc's agent must be desperate.

Can't stand the cretin.

He's one of the few housemates articulate, clever or funny enough to make a media career after this series.

PS Wootten never used the word "bombard" but he was being a sneaky little toerag, mentioning Marc's agent in an effort to somehow "discredit" him. The dirty tricks will start to ratchet up a few notches, you watch.

Perhaps I am being naïve but I find it disillusioning as the program progresses to discover on here and elsewhere the increasing number of HMs who have agents have appeared on other TV shows and have contacts connected with the show.

If they had a house full of proper civilian HMs who had none of the above it would still be an interesting show perhaps more so.

Can you please let me know how many of the HM's wouldn't want the same. Answers on a £10 note to ......Newsflash, they are all in it to win it and will all try to get coverage, why pick on Marc just because he is doing it the right way.

Yes, but why waste time when the lazy producers can cherry pick and still get it so wrong, housemates going by their appearances on other shows and/or knowing each other beforehand. The days of virtually unknown but usually far more interesting housemates who play the game with little insight on how to are now sadly gone.

There are a lot of people who audition who only do it for the experience; the majority, in fact. The show chooses fame-hungry people because it means that, if they get famous, they can say that Big Brother got them famous and the show will in turn get some exposure as well (more viewers).

Get how most of the housemates this year are half-famous? A lot of them already had fan bases prior to appearing on Big Brother. That means more viewers for the show because all the housemates' fanbases will be watching.

Chloe is not, this became apparent during her "I'm the only normal one" rant.

Don't they all? Well most of them anyhow, this is the way it's going to be now unfortunately unless they stop scouting for HMs through agents etc and go back to picking normal people through the audition process

The era is auditon process is gone. Nasty Nick didn't know he would gain notoriety, but cashed in and people took note from following series.

It began to go down the agent wannabe routine from series 5, after the disastrous BB4. BB4 was odd as it came after Jade Goody (RIP) saw her fame explode from the series before but it felt like the producers were embaressed by her fame and went for boring one for BB4. They realised Jade was what makes these shows so they returned to this for Bb5.

However, tptb really cranked up the showbiz wannabe types from series 7 onwards. Types like Imogen were just there to further modelling/ showbiz careers.

Only Danny and Christian have come across as real so far in what little i have watched. And that is including the BB legends too.

The only person who seems really is Jack. You may not like him but I can believe he's the same irl. Ditto Joel ( Joel is really unself aware eg singing Katy Perry makes him look......camp and not very hetero)
