They are making their own decisions. I'm shocked but at the end of the day, the public make their own decisions, just because you like Shilpa doesn't mean her getting boos is wrong.
It shows the mentality of some of the audience members :bored:

im just confused as to why...
That's only a small portion of the viewers, I hope Shilpa doesn't go.
Ain't it just there family's there? if thats the case then there will be more goody family members then shilpa's family.

Their families will be in it though. So your half right probably.

Yer, the audience means nothing to me really. They only represent a very very small per cent of the public.

but do u guys think the boos can influence the voting of the rest of the public? ...it certainly did for grace.

Yeah, they mean nothing. If it was the real crowd, I might have been worried.

The english public do not like people with elegeance and class, plain and simple, thrown on top of it that shilpa is gorgeous, strong, indian and young, and a woman the brittish public will boo
It's only a small audience so Shilpa getting boos means nothing really and also still early days.

the fact that its was Jackey that got booted, meant that it was all theatrical booing/cheering.
they probably found some unsuspecting trash on the street around 8.50pm and invited them to paratake, in changing the voters opinion with pointelss hissing/screaming.

Maybe because some of the audience didnt understand what an uneducated moron she is and the way she behaves is wrong.

The small audience for Jacki or Jackie or Jackiely however you spell her name was I'm sure made up of entirely family, friends and crew who are under contract to cheer The Goodys and boo anything that Jacki or Jackie or Jackiely however you spell her name dislikes in a very obvious and direct way- which was lucky Shilpa! Such a set-up- a real audience she would not have survived- there would have been no interview i.e. Jacki or Jackie or Jackiely however you spell her name would not have been able to talk--GOD FORBID!!

It shows the cherry picking of audience members, it was a closed studio audience not the usual ticketed free for all.

I don't see why people are shocked...we all know what the eviction crowds are like and they are told to act up ...therefore making an atmosphere. Cheers for everyone wouldn't have such an impact.

The studio audience is made up of friends and family of the housemates I think In previous Big Brothers the studio audience reaction to housemates has been different to the crowd outside.
There was no crowd outside tonight.

What was the reason why they did it in the studio? I hope they don't do that for the rest of the series.

Probably because it was a "surprise eviction" much like Jonathan's departure in BB7.
Davina said that there was no crowd, so it was probably just Jackiey's family and friends there.

Nothing's happening, I would've questioned the British public only if Shilpa had been voted out and Jackiey had stayed!
Of course there are going to be people out there who dislike certain HMs, and some of the audience members didn't like Shilpa, fair enough - they don't represent the majority of the general public.

They have to get a license from the local council to have an eviction crowd at the studio, the local residents are known to complain about the noise and disruption that Big Brother causes.
They probably weren't sure until close to Celebrity Big Brother started how many housemates there would be so wouldn't know how many evictions to prepare for.
