BB9.

I auditioned for it, when I turned 18 back in January 2008. I got quite far, although they don't tell you how far you get. But I felt like I was nearing the end. Plus, it was late April, and I was still in the process five weeks before the show was about to begin.

Oh wow, that's really cool. :)

Who do you think you would have possibly struck up friendships with if you went in?

I'm not sure.
Maybe Rex. I saw him at the auditions.

So, if I did get in. I would've probably mentioned it when I entered the house, and when saying hello.

Steph, as she would've been a similar age to me.

I would like to think I'd got on well with Rachel, too. As she seemed nice and I think I would've enjoyed her company.

I could definitely see myself hating Alex, lol. I think if she shouted at me continuously like the way she did with other housemates, I would've probably been ejected for slapping her. :hehe:

Mario would've annoyed me with his health and safety.

Did you meet anyone through casting? And if so, how were they? We all know Rachel was fake as **** during her auditions but the others? :p

I went to an audition for BB7 but they weren't interested, the audition was one of the most boring things ever. They picked a random topic and said we had to talk about it for FIVE minutes. Everyone else got stuff that was easy like parties, drinking and such. I got travel. Having only ever travelled to a couple of countries as a child and always stayed in tourist parts, and barely ever leaving my home town...I ****ed up badly

They wanted my mate though, badly. She had only come along for the day out and hated the show. They literally begged her and offered to fast track her to the final stages of the auditions. She told them to **** off :joker:

I saw Rex, during the auditions numerous times. I didn't meet him though as I was put into a different group.

Back then they had open auditions, and I live in London. So I went to the ones in London. If I'm not mistaken Rex lives in London, I think Hampstead, which is about 20 minutes away from where I live.

I remember that stage.
The auditions were drag. But a fantastic experience. More so, nowadays as the auditions are not the same anymore.

I remember so many interviews with production in secret locations, and they'd put us in groups with other people and we had to act out what we'd do in certain scenarios.

If BB had been around in 1968 I would have been eligable. The only Big Brother I knew about then was George Orwell's '1984'.

With the exception of Jenny and Niamh, I feel really old in comparison to most on this thread saying all the Channel 5 series.

BB14 although my birthday is in March so I might've been too late to audition.

I considered going for BB15, thank God I didn't...I couldn't have coped in that house. And then I was planning on doing it for sure this year but I never got round to it.

For me, due to my birthday being later in the year, it will be in BB19. (and i intend to apply)

Doesn't the contract end after BB18?

Jack_

^ nah, it terminates in 2018 so BB19. That's if the civilian series isn't cut before then though

It will be a shame if it is, to get so close to the 20th series and then not :bored:
