Seriously can Monday **** off I'm not here for going to work tomorrow :(
I just found out I'm doing a shift with this guy who STINKS!! Its not BO or anything because I can normally handle that, he smells dirty and moldy!

I'm afraid to tell him because I'm still quite new and I don't want to come off on the wrong foot and upset him and I would normally ignore it but I'm spending all day with him in a confined space omg. :worry:

What should I do help.

soz for the rant but whatevz x

I feel for you.
Spray some perfume around the neck of your top (or collar) then when it gets too much have a discreet sniff at your top.
Good luck with it.
Ooooops, or aftershave of course.

Take some deodrant in with you, pretend to be spraying yourself, and 'accidentally' blast him with it?

I have actually done this before..I know it came across as taking the piss but I am serious :laugh2:

The staffroom was tiny, and I heard people bitching on about this girl who apparently stunk (I honestly had never noticed it, but come on..we were working in burger king, surely we all stunk D: ) and I had deodorant with me because I always used it after a shift...and she was getting ready and I stood with my back to her and sprayed, letting it purposely go round me and onto her. She never clicked on. Mind I did tell her after the shift about everyones bitching and that...but it was a good solution for that day

Just tell him. It's mortifying being told. Apparently I stunk when I first started my work experience and I wanted to die. But they will soon improve their hygiene.

Speak to management, they will take him to the side and have a quiet word.

I'm going to work in half an hour :fist:

I've had to speak to a couple of people about personal hygiene and it was mortifying for both me and them but they did appreciate it (or so they said). The petrol station near me has a guy working there and honestly you can smell when he's on shift from outside and I wish someone would tell him. People are literally holding their noses in the queue...the other staff must either be immune to it or something as there is no way I could work there all day without saying something.

Have a discreet word with your line manager...handling tings like that are what they're paid more for.
