Dirk is Boring

I'm sorry but all he seems to do is be boring...oh and say what he thinks the public wants him to say. Like Jackiey going, he saw she was least popular and came out with this "someone had to go" crap.

I like Dirk, but the way he reacted to Jade's reaction was wrong. Any daughter would have felt the same.

I quite like Dirk, he seems pleasant, up for a laugh and animated when he talks. I'd like to see a lot more from him obviously but at this rate I think he'll make the final.

As i said i tryed saying sorry for that night yeah, i think your a good poster i have enjoyed reading your posts threw CBB part froma couple you no what one's, so why don't we just call it quits and just enjoy CBB?

I personally don't think Dirk's boring at all. He has a very dry sense of humour which I like a lot, and seems to be just 'being himself'.

Dirk has been great IMO, he does like to have his queit times where he just sits down chilling with a cigar but when he gets involved and starts joking around he is a funny guy.

Maybe some of you people don't understand or something, but Dirk was in the A-Team, the A-TEAM GUYS!!! Just the greatest show ever to feature ex-military types on the run from the law.

He could do nothing more in the house and still demand your respect and admiration. This guy once held off a small army of bad guys with just a homemade cabbage launcher he put together with spare farming parts. Thats better than any of the rubbish MacGyver ever did, and making stuff was MacGyvers whole shtick!!

The A-Team could have taken on the Dukes of Hazard, Nightrider, Air Wolf, Manimal, He-Man, She-Ra, Thunder Cats, Captain Caveman and Scooby and his gang and still whipped their asses. Probably not with a cabbage launcher, but instead they would do something brilliant and innovative that I'm simply not good enough to think up. Thats why they were the A-Team!

Shilpa should consider herself lucky to have Dirk show interest in her. I'm surprised she's held out for so long cos when he was in the A-Team no woman could ever resist him, he was the Faceman!!

So there, he rules, he's a legend. Pay homage all of you, pay homage to the A-Team, pay homage to the Faceman, pay homage to the DIRK!!

that post didn't make any sense. of course if I say he's boring then it's about his attitude. As for bringing in the A-team into it and saying because he is from that he can never be boring, you must be somehow watching BB and reminiscing scenes from the show, where all anyone else sees is him sat there sucking a cigar and making comments to keep him in... :xyxwave:

Dirk is not boring. I have wanted him to win since the beginning, but my respect for him went up ten-fold since last night's highlights. He was being honest, in a house full of fake people, and I like people like him who are secure and confident enough in themselves to say what they actually think rather than just follow the crowd.

It was sickening to see some of the other housemates come out with all the rubbish like "We loved your mum Jade" (no they didn't - most of them thought she was awful), "I thought she was going to win this" (seriously???), and "Your mum is a wonderful woman (er...not she isn't). At least Dirk was honest - as he said, Jackie is a mean spirited woman. She was the cause of all the upset and tension in the house, and I'm willing to bet that most of them are very relieved that she has gone.

Dirk is also the only one apparently able to maintain a grip on reality. It's a GAME!! And people being evicted is the whole point of the game. Everyone else was acting as though Jackiey had been told that she was going to be taken outside and shot. As Dirk said, someone was going to go, and at some point, they are all going to go. And to be honest, anyone who has any knowledge of BB should know that this is exactly the kind of stunt that they are likely to pull. I'm amazed that nobody figured it out when they were told to gather around the table.

I imagine that's why the housemates nominated him though - in a house full of fake, they can't handle it when someone is genuine.

I can understand Jade being upset, but all the rest of them are probably thanking their lucky stars that Jackiey has gone.

And as for the ''Dirk is Boring'' statement, everyone has their own opinion, I'm sure the topic starter knows that the majority don't agree with him/her. I think Dirk has proven invaluable to the house, the majority of the housemates have come to him,at one time or another seeking his advice and wisdom. He's very warm, friendly and welcoming, he has plenty stories to tell, which keep the other housemates amused, aswell as the viewers. All in all, I'm chuffed Dirk's in there, I hope he's not evicted tonight, as I think it'll have a big negative impact on the house. I should think Leo is most likely to go, he's had one too many cringeworthy moments.

Personally I think he has shown the most down to earth grasp at reality than any of the others.

he knows its a game show, he knows in the big scheme of things it don't mean nothing. He knows is a short term popularity contest that will not reflect on him in any way in the long term, as the politics of the reality tv show are a fickle business.

I think he'd certainly like to win, just like the rest of them, but clearly he has the best grasp of what it really means to be voted out, booed or not - precisely nothing, its just a game. Though he appears to be increasingly aware of the BS factor involved and is managing to stay above it.

At the start I posted a few places that I though Leo may win, unless he does a Feltz and turns out to be a complete psycho, thats obviously the case, so if I had to pick a winner, now - I would say its between Dirk, Shilpa and Jermaine, providing the voting and reporting of it is above board, which, after last series farce - I doubt.
