Bc they don't 'make the show' (even though the show is terrible)

Nice people are weird.

It's easy to call them fake when they are shockingly normal, nice people

They aren't. Just when they sit back and never have discussions, never do anything interesting.. it's boring.

But the nicer housemates used to always be the loved ones. /Brian /Kate? /Pete /Brian

It wasn't until Rachel in BB9 when people started "looking down" on the housemates who are nice.

Do you think this is why we need live feed? To get a better judge of the housemates?

No one in their right minds 'hates' nice people how ridiculous.

A fair point, we don't see enough of all the housemates now for sure.
Even worse this series with all the coming and goings.

Because of the demographic of the of the other (tasteless) reality shows that now watch BB, in the main.

Bed wetter, Helen and now maybe Marc. And MSM.

But people do hate nice people, and that's the sad thing about it.

No, but from the little time we get to see of the house they come off the nicest

Yes. I don't like the "live tweeting" because it gives Channel 5 control on what they do and do not want us to see. I secretly believe that's why we're not getting live feed, because Channel 5 wouldn't be able to control it unless they tie the housemates' hands up in string and puppet them around the house themselves.

Depends on your view of 'nice' really. Only one I could possibly call nice in there is Sam. And she doesn't seem hated.

They keep saying that live feed is not cost viable even with a charge.

They seem rich enough to triple the prize fund

We all see people differently that's all,but I myself certainly don't 'hate' anyone I don't even know, nice people can be nasty, and nasty people can be nice.

As much as I find Chloe boring it was funny to see how much the viewing public turned against her for not wanting to join in on slagging Helen off because she had no reason to.

Some people.

the question i ask is how with some HMs who are insulting i hear...........'but
they are a nice person deep down'

yet? that idea is not evenly employed

i guess many people equate a nice HM with being a dull one...........here
for the car crash TV........production of recent BB seasons does not allow
for character development

Your signature is telling me to take that as an opinion

BB do radicalises easy hate just cause nice=boring often. I don't hate people like Chloe, I prefer are boringness (but being nice in general) to Marc's exhausting hyperactive cockiness.

Nice is subjective. IMO really nice people are rare. Few people are nice most of the time but many of us are capable some of the time.

I'm the same. I've never watched Big Brother for the thrills, I watched it for its purpose - seeing how people act when put in a house together for 9+ weeks. C5 has completely abandoned that concept by creating the drama and influencing the game and how it plays out.

I watched it for the psychological aspect but now it's just a reality show.
