Do you enjoy reading books? I just can't seem to read a book. I get bored too easily and prefer watching something visually. What about you?

I love to read, I had a bit of a lull there for awhile, but I have a few great reads I am working on right now again. I have recently found it fun to read a book along side another member of the forum... it makes for some fun convo.

I love reading books but have a lot of phases where I just have breaks from it.

I used to love reading when I was younger. Now that I'm older, I don't really read much. I'm quite lazy. Plus, I read on here if that counts. But the last book I actually fully read was back in 2013.

I like to read books, i'm going through a bit of a blip at the mo though, just can't seem to settle and my concentration wanders:laugh:

I was bought Under the Dome last year and it's getting all dusty on my shelf!

I couldn't live without books. I do enjoy films, but if I could only have one it would have to be books.
Recently finished reading the Maze Runner and also the second book 'Scorch Trials'. I haven't seen the film yet, but looking forward to it.

Maze runner is a great film, my daughter has read the Maze runner books and she loved them, i particularly enjoyed the Divergent series, the problem with me is that once i've seen the film i find it hard to read the books, i just couldn't get into the Harry Potter books as it seemed pointless reading them as i've seen all the films.

I would tazer, jail and strip voting rights from anyone who does not read books

i would also tattoo them

" i dont read books"

this would be very helpful with online dating

That's one reason why I prefer to read the books first. There are a few films that are as good as the books. Blade Runner. The Shawshank Redemption. The Green Mile are a few examples.

I used to love reading, then I went off it for a while. I found it difficult to finish any book. Not sure why, but it was clearly something to do with my concentration level, my ability to maintain focus.

Then over the last few year I've gotten more and more into it. Not only am I back to the speed I used to read at, I've surpassed it.
