Glad it's ending sooner rather than later tbh, though it pisses me off that this series has been run into the ground so much that it's given me that opinion.

Does this mean significant changes to the CBB house if they've been given a month between them?

Sign of the end of Civilian BB?

Even as horrible as this has been, i still would have liked them to honor the 72 day margin and stick to their plans.

I wouldn't be surprised if putting all these ex-housemates in was because it was the final series

The day before I go holiday, brilliant, its not even that short compared to other CH5 series.

Channel 5 have officially confirmed that Big Brother will come to an end on Thursday 16th July at 9pm on Channel 5. This means that Big Brother will end on Day 66, making it the second shortest series to air on Channel 5, and the second shortest series ever – with Big Brother 1-4 and 12 all being the shortest overall at 64 days.

The final begins at 9pm on Channel 5 with a live show lasting an hour and 45 minutes, where the winner of Big Brother will be announced.

The final is then followed by the last edition of Big Brother’s Bit on the Side airing at 10:45 until 11:55pm. This series looks to have been cut back by a week – with the final of Big Brother being Episode 66, but 72 episodes scheduled overall.

Channel 5 are yet to confirm when the summer edition of Celebrity Big Brother will begin, as there is likely to be a larger gap between the two series.

Meanwhile, Big Brother continues tonight at 10pm with the latest highlights show.

^ But still the shortest one. That tells you something.

Nope, the second shortest. BB1-4 and BB12 are the shortest at 64 days.

Another boring 6 way eviction finale then...

I was wrong, BB12 was shorter at 64 days. And also series 1 to 4 were also the same length.

But still the fact that itīs cut length means that they have mostly or completely lost their faith in CIV BB.

With 6th and 5th place leaving and being evicted at the same time yawn

could be 5 because theres 2 evictions left, and they normally do an extra surprise one and one is normally double.

6 is too many for a final anyway, I don't think they should ever have more than 4. :idc:

Will.

They made the decision before the ratings started to improve... It'll be back in June next year, May launch flopped

That makes BB16 66 days long.

2 days longer than BB1-4, 12 and 2 days shorter than BB14.

Depends who's up for eviction. They don't want to put their foot in it and lose their control. :hehe:

Jason.
01-07-2015, 04:15 PM
I wonder if they'll ever do a May launch again.
I hope they do. But they did it too early this year. 12th May was way too early. That's the earliest launch we've ever had. I think two weeks later would've been better.

A May Launch should be after 20th May.
BB16 should've launched on 26th May, TBH.

Ugh I'm missing the final, by one day. Can everyone just record it and watch it on the Friday for me so I still feel the atmosphere

Babayaro.
01-07-2015, 04:18 PM
I really don't understand this. Surely they can just extend it by one day and make the final on a Friday. It just looks messy

Will.

I must say it's going to be weird to not have BB run through the summer holidays (After 20th July).

BB16 has got to be one of the messiest, if not the messiest series ever. Even BB15 was more organized than this shambles of a series.

Chilltown

Seems abnormally short.

Denver
01-07-2015, 05:57 PM
Maybe CBB will get the extra days?

MB.
01-07-2015, 05:59 PM
Seems abnormally short.

Well it's only two days shorter than BB14 and people seemed to think that was a good length

(personally, I'd usually prefer 70+ days but the sooner this series finishes, the better)

Will.

BBSPY have said that CBB is launching mid August.
