This was an Old Thread back in 2015
David Cameron the PM back then,
left this decision with no answer.

This can apply to the current
Labour Party as well right now
as many Labour MP's are backing
Heathrow 3rd runway.

Heathrow and Gatwick airport could expand under plans

21 January 2025

[Airports across the UK could be expanded,
including the controversial third runway
at Heathrow,
under government growth plans.
The Treasury is looking at whether to support
a third runway at Heathrow,
approve a second runway at Gatwick,
and increase capacity at Luton airport.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves said she
is "not going to comment on leaks"
when asked in the House of Commons
about the expansion on Tuesday.
The new Labour government has made
economic growth a key part of its messaging,
with Reeves pledging to go "further and faster".
Reeves could make an announcement on
airports next week in a speech,
the BBC understands.

When asked on Tuesday about whether
she supports a proposed third runway at Heathrow,
Reeves said: "What I would say is this
government is absolutely committed
to growing our economy and making this
a great place for businesses to invest and trade in."]

The Borough of Hounslow is in ULEZ. But they're building a new runway at Heathrow? It's almost like they're taking the piss.

BBC Politics London
claims Rachel Reeves
will confirm Runway 3 at Heathrow,
this week?

But I wonder if she holds back
because of the £20Billion costs.

Showed all the homes
that will be Demolished once Runway 3 starts up.

But they also showed Heathrow
Packed and in need of the 3rd runway.

Politically Labour can get this through Parliament
and the Conservative Leader backs it.

Costing around £50 billion to build.
