View Full Version : Do people cheer for HMs stubbornly?

I feel like sometimes on this forum you have people who have strongly supported a housemate at some point or another, and they've stuck with that.. possibly changed their avatar and signature to pictures of that housemate. Then, when their fave says something nasty or someone says something negative to them.. they get stubborn and start to cheer on their housemate regardless or talk about the housemate who challenged them like a piece of dirt.

I find it really annoying actually. Has anyone else noticed it?

(this isn't an indirect by the way so dont anyone think it's aimed at you personally)

that is the beauty of bb - we can like someone and when they go wrong we can go off them but we must understand it is all manipulation.

its a hard one - i suppose you have to weigh up what you like about them and does that over ride on what they have done.

I would love for the dude on my avatar to be in CBB.

I've always agreed. Think i made a very similar thread a couple years ago! Same goes to the hate campaigns. Jack has been brilliant recently but there is no more love for him than usual. It's a shame, I think most people watch what they want to see instead of what actually happens.

I have noticed this :( I actually like Jack and cannot understand the hate for the guy

Some do not care whatever there original choice does that is bad. I have gone from Joel to Nick to Jack to Harry to Danny and now Cristian. May change again!

Tbh I wish more BB fans would point out when their favourite has done something wrong, but it never goes that way.

I think there was just a "too soon" aspect about him. He made a big impact as soon as he entered the house and trod on a lot of toes. People had already made their mind up about who their favourites were, so plopping a new guy into the mix and having him act the way he did straight away was a bit of a setback for fans. Like the OP said, people just grew to be stubborn about him. If he gained the support before causing all the drama, he'd be a bit more liked.

It's the fact that people can't actually see or aren't willing to admit what's truly happening due to their like or dislike for certain housemates .

You can still support your favourite or dislike a hm without bias, admit when their in the right or the wrong and move past it instead of thinking up all excuses possible.

My faves usually have enough to haters to point out when they're wrong so I don't always need to acknowledge it.

I think marcs fans are the worst for this as his comments can't really be defended.

I'm not naming names, but a lot of Marc and certain Cristian supporters are guilty of this. And some others too.

I totally agree with this, but sometimes you grow to love them for it.

Like my favourites are Harry and Eileen. I know Harry can be very mood and Eileen always played up to though cameras, but I didn't mind because I love them, but I do understand the points about being wrong in an argument, or completely changing their opinion on a HM cause they're fave doesn't like them now (arguments not really included)c

Marc could punch Nick in the face and some people would say Nick fell into his fist!
