So happy! I've just been told I'm allowed at the #BBUK final on the 16th can't wait! Thank you @BBUKLive @bbuk #BBAaron #BBFinal

Bit off as I thought ejected housemates weren't aloud at the final?

He will apologise to Joel after he wins I assume

I was thinking about this, this morning actually. How weird.

I always thought it was inevitable that he was going to be allowed. Purely for the fact they allowed him to be on the panel on BOTS, a few weeks back with Sarah.

They've never done that for ejected housemates before. Sometimes they just get an interview on BOTS, like Aaron had at first, as did Daley.

But when they let him be on the panel on another show, I thought to myself that he's getting a much lenient treatment compared to other ejectees. So why wouldn't they let him?

Good for him, I suppose. I wasn't a fan of his. But I don't think his reasons for being ejected were malicious, and Joel still liked him as a friend, despite what happened. So it's not like there's any lost love or anything.

I still think that his ejection was a publicity stunt to attract ratings for 4in4out, which was due to happen the following night.

So he should. He was allowed on the panel for BOTS so why should be be unable to attend the final?

He shouldn't be allowed anywhere near Joel.

Jason.

If I remember correctly they allowed Kitten and Emma, from BB5 to attend the final. And they were ejected.

And that was a much more hostile situation, considering Emma and Victor were only sat a few seats away from each other.
I don't think Aaron being there would do any harm.

Since then, no ejectee has been allowed to attend the final. Like, Dawn, Emily, Alexandra, Dennis, Daley.

I wish Emily (BB8) was allowed to attend the final, as she only said a racial comment with no malice. I don't see how that would harm any of the finalists or the fellow housemates.

Tbh, after Helen came in and was her usual vile self and only got a formal warning when she was leaving anyway two days later, Aaron's ejection seems harsh even though it was probably the right decision.

I'm okay with it if Joel is okay with it, I presume that he is but I ****ing hope he was asked.

True.
I personally think they should've asked Joel to decide. I don't think he would've wanted Aaron to be ejected, as he said in the DR after it was revealed to the house that he was gutted, as he really liked him.

Not to mention this year, BB seems to be telling the housemates to stop having fun, and to shut up, so I'm not surprised.

Rightly so. Of all the ejectees I'm really gutted we didn't get to see more of Aaron, I think he'd have done really well this series and as unfortunate and in too far a manner as the Joel and him storyline ended, had the incident not happened it would've made BB16 a whole lot better

Jason.

Yeah, and Fight Night was hostile in comparison to Aaron flashing. Yet, they had Emma and Victor sat only a few seats away from each other.

So I don't see how Aaron being there would do any harm.

Had what happened the following night not happened would've made BB16 better.

If that makes sense. :worry:

Also true. Honestly, I said at the time that it would be a series ruiner and as average as I have found this series, it was. All they had to do was bring in the four newbies (although Sam was a waste) and have a single eviction, and everything would have been fine.

Harriet, Sarah and the twins were all disastrous losses and when you think about how things could have gone down with them there when the Helen saga unfolded, well it makes me wet tbh, and it's a real shame we never got to see how it would've played out.

Something else that will make you wet (literally), is Love Island eviction is a VTS, this week.

Looks like your Ofcom complaint worked. :hehe::joker:

Good to see him there.

If only he had gotten really, really angry, smashed pizza boxes and shouted and thrown stuff at his housemates instead of having a laugh and showing them his willy: then he would still be in there!

Ejectees should never get the same treatment as people who've been evicted get, they shouldn't get interviews, or a seat on the bots panel or a place at the final imo.

That's walkers.

Since ejectees did not walk away from the show themselves, they should be allowed back at Big Brother's discretion.

However, I do think the producers have a cheek to ask Aaron to return after having already thrown him out. :hehe:

Aaron should not be allowed anywhere near Joel during any BB event. Fair enough Joel probably will be fine with it but that's still not right, the man is vile.

He should never have been removed.

Blatant publicity stunt.

bb968
05-07-2015, 09:34 PM
Ridiculous they evicted him in the first place, - probably because Joel made a silly complaint.
How Danny has not been evicted is probably purely down to people like Mark not running into the diary room and complaining. He had been violent more than once and was literally an inch from Marks face so where is the consistency..

oh no hold on... Danny knows half of the BB incestuous family...

Jason.
05-07-2015, 09:42 PM
His removal was a massive publicity stunt. Had it been in another series, he would've just got a warning.

Unless Joel did a Chloe Goodman or something.
I love how some people are calling him vile, when I doubt they'd be saying that if he hadn't been ejected. It's just the stigma that's attached to ejected housemates.

I loved him in the house and I adore him now. He was clearly put into the "boring" category by the producers so they decided to use this opportunity to get rid of him.

This series has had so many extra people thrown in that when I saw the title I forgot BB16 even had an Aaron, I thought it was referring to the one from BB12 and I was really confused.

Considering he has been allowed on BOTS a few times this isn't surprising. Like other people have said him being ejected was a bit staged from the producers, if it had been another series he would still be in there and would have just got handed a final warning. The producers this year have just been desperate for something to happen so ejecting him was an attempt to make the series seem dramatic and pull in viewers.

Rorkimaru
06-07-2015, 11:30 PM
He absolutely should have been removed and I disagree with the amount of work they've given him since the ejection purely because of the precedent it sets. That said I don't think Joel will mind, and actually he'll probably be happy.

I suppose it's the difference between black and white rules vs shades of grey. The world is shades of grey so it's hardly a travesty but Aaron is not the first one to be ejected for something which was not intentionally offensive nor is he the one ejected for doing the least yet previous contestants didn't get near as good treatment. Of course times change and it's a privately run show so if they want to change the rules it's their call.
