Is this the most mediocre final 9 we've ever had?

My favourite I only mildly like and everyone else ranges from neutral to severe awfulness... it really is such a bland cast. Am I alone in thinking this is the worst final 9 we've been lumped with?

The problem is after 4out4in, Chloe and Danny saw the more controversial Hms like Harriet and Sarah evicted and decided to coast. Marc decided to stop this by being an obnoxious twunt.

Hm, the only truly deserving ones still left are Marc, Joel, Jack, maybe Harry and Danny (never thought I'd say that) to an extent, but of those only Marc is in the same league as John James, Sam, Josie and Corin were in BB11, so I'd say it's probably worse to be honest.

I mean it's weird, I don't really hate any of them, and I like them, they're just overwhelmingly bland and in any other series most of them would fade completely into the background.

You know it's bad when ex-housemates deserve to win more than they do. Aisleyne and Brian have totally surpassed their first appearances as far as I'm concerned.

The problem with 4 in 4 out was that whoever left it would have caused problems for the series which is why the whole twist was the producers shooting themselves in the foot even before the series had started and its all kind of gone on from there in a big confusing mess

I get what you mean about the Legends. I would've loved to see Helen win again, but as an actual HM I'd like Marc to win.

I agree with the OP.

This is the most depressingly bland and undeserving final HMs i've ever seen in BB.

Marc deserves it most for 2 reasons:
1. Bringing more energy and life to the house than all the others put together.
2. He's been unfairly blamed for victimising Brian etc without anyone backing up their claims with examples of how he has done this. Plus he's had Danny, Ais and Brian all kicking off at him continuously so he kinda deserves a happy ending to his time there.

If he goes on friday it will undoubtedly be the most lame and undeserving final line up of all time.

Marc and the legend HMs have made the show exciting this year. The other HMs (apart from Marc) have been reduced to mere observers and hangers on to the events happening around them and none of them deserve the win.

I know your main criteria for A Good Housemate is more quantitative than qualitative but good lord at John James and Marc getting any sort of positive press.

BUT every Celeb BB is vote to SAVE: hence they are generally much better

This year's BB would be better if it had been VTS

VTE has got rid of the controversial/marmite characters like Eileen, Jade and Adjoa and kept the floaters in.

Hence the boring final line up we have now.

A head-to-head VTE among two people with distinct fan bases (or not) is pretty much the same thing as a head-to-head VTS - the votes to evict Eileen were votes to save Joel, and vice versa.
