It's his choice what to do with it I'd have thought, surely?
I don't see what the big fuss is about to be honest.

What for, throwing the whisky away? That is a bit harsh. It was only whisky.

i wouldnt want to shae my booze either with a lazy assed spoilt tart who ignores me all the time(jo),the fact that jade threatened to take it whether he was prepared to share or not would make my resolve stronger.

He should told Jade to plod on, but yet again she gets her own way! I think he was entitled to have ti too himself and the reason he put it in the bin is because he didn't want to share.
Why does Jade have to run her mouth off?! She always has to say something!!! JUST SHUT UP!!!

it was the fact jo said she wanted to go to sleep and told him to put the light off then she has the cheek to ask for his whiskey aswell sake. jade then pretty much demands that she have it which i think is not on!

I can just imagine the girlies sharing summit they got for themselves.
the brass neck of Jo sending Jade out to do her dirty work :cloud:
It certainly is not on, it was Dirk's whiskey and they acknowledged that until they felt the need to have it and that's just selfish and no wonder he got rid of it rather than let them get what they wanted.
I doubt the like's of Jade have ever understood the meaning behind not getting everything you want.

I can't see what is greedy about throwing your own whisky away if you want to. It's a waste, but not greedy.

I think he did it wrong. He should have poured it away before giving Jade any. That would have got the point across. I think the stress made him pour his own share away.

He was making a point, I say good on him but I'm slightly biased cos Dirk was in the A-Team. He's therefore a legend
I hope it wasn't irish whiskey he threw out though. He can do what he likes with some cheap bottle of scotch but he can't be dumping the irish nectar :bigsmile:

cant believe he would deprive hisself of a drink
It was Dirk's whiskey, maybe a waste but i thought it was funny.
If I remember correctly she asked him for HALF of his whisky, and thats probably the only reason Dirk said no.He then made his silent protest
which enabled him to make a point without having to verbalise to her and avoid a further fight. Jade`s later comments about him having withdrawl symptons and shaking was just rude, especially since he had just chucked it down the bin.

I couldn`t agree more but it was about the way Jade asked for half, as if it was group whisky, and was prepared to argue
so much about it. was his whisky afterall.

this cold be a neverending debate and not come to any conclusion as there are a lot of facts
I can see everyones point but i still think it was a very childish and selfish act on dirks part.

I think both of them could of handled it better but cannot see why Dirk would say No to kick it all off. If Jo had happily shared her Whisky with him then I don't see why he couldn't do the same. Maybe if Jo had asked herself it might of been different.

Jo couldn't even be bothered asking for it herself so why should he give her any? Jade should stop getting involved in everybody else's business - she is so CLEARLY out on a mission to win and is a lot more intelligent than people give her credit for.

It was HIS whisky. He didn't have any of the other alcohol, which the other housemates have, AND they had still got a bottle of wine hidden under the bed. And to be honest, if Jade had asked if Jo could just have a drink of whisky, it wouldn't be so bad, but she wanted half the bottle. It's one thing beong told to share - it's another thing completely expecting to share something that belongs to someone else. The group agreed that the whisky was for Dirk, but as soon as Jo wanted some, it was a different story. I'm pretty sure that Jade did that just to stir things up - after all, just beforehand, Jo wanted to go to sleep.
Also, Jade's comments to Dirk about having a problem with alcohol were completely below the belt. It was a horrible thing to say, and Jade showed herself up.
People thought that Jade was a really nice person when she came back into the house. The truth is that she is clearly still the spiteful little bitch that she was first time around.

Bravo! I completely agree! :hello:
I found it funny how Jade told Dirk that he had a problem with alcohol, when she was the one who, like you said, had a whole bottle of wine hidden under her bed! Pot, kettle, anyone?
Plus, Jade was hardly sympathetic, virtually demanding that Jo was given half the bottle, when she could've either asked for a glass, or have been content with the other drink she'd had.
I don't think it was too much down to Jo, just Jade taking it upon herself to be the knight in shining armour. In fact, to me, she just showed herself up, yet again to be a spiteful malicious toad.

I think just the fact that Jade considered it her business to demand the whisky for Jo a conclusive example of the way Jade has a new found opinion of herself that everything she wants and says must be adhered to. Its just disgusting, pretentious behaviour.
