Why do they select SOME HM's who have media backgrounds?

This year was a big improvement but I never know why they choose them? Like Winston and Danny were both on ITV2 Girlfriends with Emma Willis!

I don't see why they select them? Is it because there easier to deal with having past TV appearance? Like its obvs there not selected because there make great HMs.

I just don't really get it! Does anyone know?
