There is a big red button in the middle of the living room and the prize fund – currently standing at £150,000 - is on the plasma. This fund will start to drop on Big Brother’s word. The only way to stop it falling to zero is for a housemate to push the button. But there’s a catch.

The housemate who pushes the button is immune from nominations but at a price – they will have to put another housemate up for eviction this week.

Once they have nominated the fund will then begin to fall again and the process will be repeated until a set number of housemates face eviction.

Housemates must remain silent throughout – except when they are giving their nomination reasons. If they do, there will be serious consequences.

At first I thought that was interesting but then I realised if they were all smart enough they'd sit down and agree to press the button straight away as soon as it starts decreasing, nom someone, hit the button again, repeat repeat repeat so that barely any money is lost at all.

That way the winner still gets nearly the whole prize (barring more inevitable stupid twists) and I mean the money is more important than having to nominate someone which they'd have to do anyway.

Whoever presses is immune, so its going to be 4 chosen and 4 not. Though Im sure they could decide between them on the 4 who are going up..

I don't get it, they've nominated face to face basically every week anyway so that's no different, and with the extra benefit of immunity and keeping the prize fund nice and high? I'd be charging towards that button the second I could. :laugh: Why would any of them be scared to press the button? Unless I've misinterpreted the twist and the actual 'underlying theme' behind it is 'who can get immunity first?' rather than 'will they dare press the big scary red button?'.
