I can imagine. I bet they have paid a lot for the legends to stay longer, and the hotel guests and such.
Piss poor show though if its because of budgeting

04-07-2015, 09:47 PM
What's the lowest amount a winner has walked out of the house with?
£50k, Luke A
I actually looked at the prize fund list on Wiki not too long ago, I was surprised to notice how inconsistent it was in the latter years from BB10 onwards
Vicky.
04-07-2015, 09:47 PM
What's the lowest amount a winner has walked out of the house with?
IIRC Aaron only got 50k. Because the producers were so pissed off with his popularity they split loads of the prize fund off...

No one in there deserved 150k

Vicky.
04-07-2015, 09:49 PM
Its gunna drop to 20-30k I think. They wanted Jack to take the car so they didnt have to pay the prize money...this way they still get away with paying a lot less
Jack_
04-07-2015, 09:49 PM

I knew there was someone else I was forgetting  I remember Aaron got an extra £10 or something but I was sure the other one was a C5 winner

EW does anyone remember when they gave away £100k in BB8 for no reason at all and the twist wasn't even exciting, just had the nominees picking someone, and even worse it ended up going to Liam
What a total waste of money that was when they could've had a twist to double it to £200k

I honestly think they knew from the moment they announced the increase that there would be a twist so that they didn't have to give the full amount away
It's pathetic though, why bother trying to make history only to then go back on what you promised? I mean when you think about that Marcus narrated announcement they kept playing during CBB about the increase trying to hype it up it makes it look like an embarrassment now
If there isn't a twist to let the winner get the full amount I'm going to be really annoyed, even though I saw all of this coming. This show is an embarrassing, poorly produced, pathetic ****ing shambles

Lets face it BB is just a soap opera these days and this is just this weeks planned piece of drama that the viewers have no control of whatsoever.
I find it hard to hold my interest never mind get excited about.
This is a storyline thought up by the writers of the show this is a million miles from what big brother is this is no different to a storyline in a show like emmerdale.
Im not saying that the housemates are told what to say or do i am sure they arent but the interactions and reactions of the housemates and their characters are supposed to be the driving force behind what we see not a pre-written dramatic plot.
I hope this is the last series C5 do because i am in suffering watching this. I have never missed a show since BB began but this is really painful to see.
I agree Bob. This BB is atrocious and if BB is dropped by C5 I think maybe it is for the best now.

I very much agree with what you are saying. Its not scripted in as much that they are given a script each day to learn, but I do feel the cast is heavily guided. For example, why would a group of TV hungry wannabes sit in silence and listen to Joel's interviews. They just wouldn't. He would be told to shut the **** up and completely talked over
On the cash, I'm not invested enough in any of the cast to care if they receive a penny or not, but i believe they will get the opportunity to win it back if they are prepared to go with the drama that BB has planned for this week
