Obviously he didn't play the perfect game, but we loved watching him regardless.
I know a lot of people think he could have done things differently, well let's hear it.
More than happy to learn from BB experts :)

He shouldn't of stooped to personal insults and he shouldn't of sided with Helen. Take those two things away and Marc would of been a winner.

So not we then :joker:
Yourself and one other person.
Do you have an opinion on the subject?
He probably aligned himself way too much with the so called legends, letting them influence his judgement on nominating and such, that might have been his downfall, or maybe he just wasn't liked as much as he and some of his fans may have believed.

I agree, the Helen thing played a huge role.

I don't think he should have done anything differently.
Had he ignored Helen he would not have been being true to himself,Nikki and Brian were never that supportive to his way anyway, even without Helen.
He stayed true to all he said he would do in the house,he did it, coming out because of that is to his credit and what he managed to do, that few others could, was expose the bad sides to some of them, especially Danny.
Even as to some of the has beens too,Like Aisleyne for instance.
Vote to save and he likely could have won this, vote to evict removes often the very best of housemates due in part to pathetic organised campaigns.
I doubt he could have done more than stay true to himself and he took all the people he came across at face value and then judged them.

Riled them. But in a less passive aggressive and demeaning manor. Could and probably would have won then.

If he didn't side with Helen, didn't join in with the aggressive behavior/mannerisms and didn't seclude himself from the main group of HMs then he would still be in there.

I'd take a housemate who's true to himself any day over a fake one.
Vote to save was unfair, he has just as many haters as fans.

But he was not true to himself. It was a failed gameplan.
And he failed.

VTE or VTS is only unfair when it goes against voters faves.
It should always stick to one or the other.

Yes it should, those who supported him could do nothing really to avoid him going in vote to evict.
That was exclusively down in vote to evict,to those who wanted him out for whatever reasons
In vote to save they could then have done nothing except vote for their own favourite, rather than destroy someone elses favourites' chances.

In other words he should have been a meek and mild arselicker then he'de have gone far , but , imo he played it just fine , just people took him too seriously

How was he not true to himself?
Because in his interview, he said "it was a plan to annoy" and he never meant any harm to anyone and he liked them all. That is F A K E.

His game plan is part of who he is, it's what he chose to do and he stuck to it.
Quite clearly he stayed true to himself.

Going in for the kill. Wanting to be hated and trying too hard to prove it even if unnecessary. It was just unpleasant. He could have been less "look at me! I'm a dick! Say I'm a dick! Hate me!". It's quite embarrassing on personal level.

Well yeah, from a game player perspective he went about it the wrong way. He should have stuck to how he was before the legends entered the house.
But considering Marc didn't seem to have any intentions on winning I don't think it really matters what he did. He's gone now, that's it, the show goes on.

Being less of an a$$hole to everyone, for no reason, would help. Everyone keeps on about difference between VTE and VTS, but if his attacks on other hms were grounded and true, instead of just attacks for the sake of attacks, it wouldn't matter much if it was VTS or not.
This way, fans of all, even those who were not up voted to get him out, cause he annoyed everyone.. He claimed he's there to shake their masks off, but in making arbitrary attacks he failed. Yes, Danny was dumb enough to fall for it, but no one else did. Oh he made Chloe cry - what, she's not happy go lucky, she can cry too? What a waste of space he was.
But aside his BB experience, as someone who is also biochemist, I have to say, I wouldn't want guy who behaves that way in a laboratory around me. There are extremely corrosive chemicals all around you in chemical lab, some even toxic, and as for bio lab, where everything needs to be sterile, you really don't want prankster helping.
And if he really is working in such lab, he most definitely isn't behaving as he's presented himself on BB = he's fake.

As I stated at the beginning of the thread his game plan wasn't perfect.
I just wanted to know what people thought and how they would have done things differently if they were in his position.
