Chloe is the biggest hypocrite of all. With her fake manipulative tears that she produces at strategic moments to get sympathy and her sudden obsession with money that looks and sounds peculiarly as tho she is extremely concerned about it even though she claims she isn't.

The only reason they're annoyed is that Nick has more successful at virtually everything in the show than she has been. Envy - pure and simple.
