He's so self righteous and selfish, as well as obnoxious and annoying. The biggest gameplayer in there too. He's honestly one of my most disliked housemates in a very long time.

He was my favourite until he bumlicked Helen.

The last couple of days he's looked pretty pasty and dull, i don't think he's well.

Yes he may be my worst this series. Dull, one note, nasty, selfish.. not much to him to be entertained by.

Saddle sniffed Helen and Marc. Bad move. He was my favourite too until then.

But will probably get a lot of the Marc vote.

I'm new here. Been a BB fan (US for years) Just started watching BB Canada, Australia and this is my 1st season of BBUK and I LOVE IT.

Not a fan of Danny. I agreed with Marc's comments about Danny's intentions on the show to come across as Mr. Perfect. He's a huge phoney in my opinion. Only person who's repeatedly told people to "shut up" when they get a leg up on him in an argument. He's done this to Chloe, Cristian and Marc.

Not when people like Sam Evans, Pav, Sam, Chloe etc exist. He's not even in the worst in this series, better than Simon, Kieran, Chloe and Sam as already mentioned, Nick, Cristian.

Joel's a weird one for me. He actually hasn't had a lot of ~big moments~ or storylines (though he may have done had Aaron stayed longer, which is a shame) but he's been a relatively big part of this series and it's strange, he isn't dull by any stretch of the imagination and is more than deserving of winning.

He really is awful. I know if I was living with him he'd look worse than he does now let's put it that way. His snobbery and self-self-rightousness is really immature.

I'd like to sit down and read this list of big moments he's supposedly had...

I mean the producers have literally had to step in and give him a half-arsed talk show to make his socially-awkward pointless politician shtick remotely relevant. If that's what we're talking about as his "moments" then sign me out.

^ I said he hasn't had a lot of big moments :suspect: that's my point, I shouldn't like him but yet he still hasn't been that boring

I'm really perplexed by this fanbase. He doesn't smile, he's annoyingly nosy, his constant interviewing of people is tired out, he's sanctimonious, he spent 2500 on a ****ing pizza to make him self a knockoff Caroline (who is a knockoff Harry, who is a knockoff Rex, who SUCKS), he literally thinks he's Churchill, etc. I could go on and on. Literally anybody but him to win please.

The only bad thing about him is that he's a Tory tbh

I like him. He's at least different. C5 basically bring the same type of person into the house all the time but I don't remember a Joel-like character ever.

Even then I just wonder "is he? or did he just pick up a newspaper and go 'yes i like the colour blue'?"

Not that I want Big Brother to explore his political beliefs  I just don't believe anything he says or does is genuine.

and that's cause he's not even a character, he's a caricature.

I agree with that, I think that's kind of why I like him and am so confused at why I do. He hasn't had many storylines yet he's still been a big part of this series? Probably partly because it's so crap but still

I was going to go into this at the end of my last post but I cba, I don't know whether I'd go that far but I do think he's one of those types who is easily led by the right wing press, his parents political views, lapping up the Tory rhetoric peddled out. I thought that when I read his election tweets back earlier on in the series, it was literally just a stream of the same old crap, 'Labour wrecked the economy', 'the job is half done', 'we're on the road to recovery', 'do we want a man who can't eat a bacon sandwich running the country?' etc etc. I guess it's partly because of his age, but yeah, it does seem like he's been easily led into it and I bet in a debate with someone on his level (which none of the other housemates have been) he'd easily be proven wrong.

This.

I appreciate him for being at least a little bit of an original character in a sea of mannequins all bought from the same shop.

Who is your favourite, if you don't mind me asking?

Amy Jade

I have disliked him since the start, well since the debate task when he turned a bit of fun into something way bigger and any moments he in involved in it's always other housemates who make it funny.

Do people only support him because he's not hideous? maybeeee

I'll put it this way.

I liked Sarah, she got kicked out.
I liked Jade, she got kicked out.

I do like someone in there now
but I'm sure you can guess why I'm reluctant to say who it is.

It's my BB superstition I guess.
