John McCririck keeps banging on about Harry fostering kids, this can't be true at all theres no way in hell someone with Harry's job would be eligible to foster children not to mention her constant mood swing, punching walls and so on..

I'm calling bull**** on this and John McC trying to push this as a reason for her being a 'nice person' is bollocks

I agree. Who would look after them on her sessions! And don't the authorties prefer married couples anyway.

I'm willing to believe Big Mac as Harry seems to be a mothering figure to Nick.

I wonder if the £100 comment to Joel came from knowing the poverty most of the foster kids she deals with come from whereas Joel has no idea

Mac was hoodwinked by her when he was in the house and he bought her story hook line and sinker. Goes to prove she is a class 'A' scammer and Game player of the worst kind. Mac knew nothing of her past before he went in so we can only assume she told him a pack of lies in the house.

Call bull**** on this explanation too sorry Pete, if that's the case then Nick wouldn't have had to point out to her in the DR that £200 is a lot of cash to some people.

I doubt she full time fosters kids but I wouldn't be surprised at all if she volunteers her time to spend with foster kids (big sister programs, teaching writing classes etc).

What I do hate though is that all the housemates seem to be aware of this side of Harry yet the producers haven't shown a second of her talking about the good she does.

At she hasn't picked on Nick

Argues with him all the time and then goes into moods for hours at his pain even though he apologises when mostly he has done not much wrong. Telling the house that he feels trapped and wants some space for a night and she gets back into his bed. It can only end badly.

This was my first thought when I heard this too.
I know a few people who volunteer for these programs. It's a great thing to do.
Harry obviously has some issues but don't they all in there ?.
She just does nothing to hide them.
I do think she is a really good, caring person but that does not make a BB winner these day's.

If by any slim chance this was true i'd bet she won't be doing it for long when she gets out.Her mental state and being camera slut would'nt be the ideal enviroment i would'nt have thought.

Maybe it's her parents who foster kids? Can't see her being a suitable candidate for a whole host of reasons.

The thought of her fostering kids horrifies me.
She has a whole lot of growing up to do herself first, and issues to sort out.

Its ironic really that some people take up positions of extreme dislike of a housemate on a game show edited to make entertaining storylines rather than truth... If I were they I would question where real mental instability lies....... :nono:

He wasn't pointing it out to her, he was making fun of her previous comment about 100GBP being a lot. If she hadn't said that, he wouldn't have said that.

It's not like 200GBP means anything to him. He'd use that to wipe a turd of his sole.

That was just him being "funny".

Joke's on him, cause she didn't sigh that it was "just" 200GBP cause she didn't think it's a lot, she sighed cause she thought how she had to spend all day away from him, and managing to do that, for her meant they should have awarded them properly, not jokingly.

He's so unworthy.

I think it comes from the fact she was homeless, so she knows it first hand.

This is not her first such comment. When on a date with Nick, that she had to be handcuffed to Marc, which he then used to stick his filthy fingers into the food he wasn't allowed to eat, so no one would eat it - and her main beef with all that was:

There are people starving outthere and he's just throwing food away.

To which Marc, hero of people responded with

Oh, don't start with that again.

You can see why Marc was supportive of Joel, right there. They are both oblivious of what actual life looks like.

Worst of it all, so's Nick, but she cares for Nick, so she's efd there

Her career choice bothers me not. But after last nights show, she clearly has issues relating to mental health. The last five weeks have shown that too. Who the **** would walk around naked in front of strangers?

to foster kids you have to prove that you can provide a stable environment for the kids. I'm not sure if she personally fosters kids, or is involved with kids that require fostering or organisations that assist with fostering kids. There are many roles people can do to help without actually fostering themselves.

I don't doubt she has her good points, but surely being a sex worker and the violent mood swings should preclude her from working with children, even on a voluntary basis?

...these are what I took from what he said as well, she may work with foster children or have done some work in the past and maybe in the future, feels that she would like to consider fostering herself, that would be a perfectly natural thought process for her to have...and well done to her for any charity/voluntary work she may have done....

Ammi

...even if she ever has been diagnosed as having mental health issues...she is still capable and able to contribute to other vulnerable sections of society..in fact, maybe more so in some ways because of her own experiences and issues...so often it's said of the stigma of people with mental health issues and how they're prejudiced against and treated so badly, which they often are...but many can contribute just as much as any mentally healthy person, but maybe just in a different and unique way to them...

It sounds like she does far more to help others and to care for animals than anyone else in there so how is even that being seen as a negative ?

Those things are extremely admirable qualities to see in any person, regardless of what they do or don't do for a job!
She doesn't do anything illegal and in the modern times we live in i'm sure her work wouldn't even prevent her from fostering and nor should it!

I own a horse too and I am not rich, mine stays in a rented space with a woman my mum is friends with and I go to look after her on a daily basis and I work in the ladys farm shop on a weekend to partially pay for the housing.
