View Full Version : Are Some Of The Tasks Stage Managed ?

I particularly refer to the task where they had to beat each other to the buzzer.

Isn't it odd that it was 2 of them each time that competed to be first to it ?

In reality, sometimes, you'd get 3 and sometimes 4 going for it at same time

in a more random fashion.

It being just two each time seems like they must have been told that just two should go for it each time,

which prob works better with camera angles cos some wouldn't block each other on camera view

as would happen if 3 or 4 went for it in random fashion.

Also I'm not sure about them setting the time required on the moneybag test.

Setting it to be 6 1/2 hours seems a bit long for me,

and I think there is a chance, that they might have waited to c what the contestants did first, then they decided on saying 6 1/2 hours

to match the No. of them they wanted to award and the amount of money they wanted to add to the prize money or what looked good for the viewers at home.

Yeah. Last year or the year before. Can't quite remember when.

Why did Joel have a long piece of rope to hold in the money bag challenge? It was much easier for him?

There was a crane holding Jack up right. Joel's mum cut it causing him to crash to the floor and drop his money bag in a shocking piece of sabotage.

And there was a valid explanation for that AND it had been announced before it happened that there would be someone there...

if you look at last nights highlight show, at the start of the task where they are holding up the money, Cristian is topless and Jack is wearing a Tee Shirt. Toward the end of the task Cristian has a top on and Jack is wearing a dressing gown.

lets hear some explanations of how that was achieved without letting go of the rope

Quite easily. You can put a shirt over your head easily and swap the rope between your hands for the sleeves. :umm2:

Yes! Anyone with common sense can see that.

I think they are. First time bomb ever was obviously fake. They gave everyone perfect matches, including kicking simon out.

Some have suggested even Joel's "interviews" are staged.

It seems likely as it's doubtful all of them would just sit around and listen to it, let alone answer all that crap.

I don't think they would have made them stand for ten+ hours without a break for the toilet. Easy enough to grab another top then.

yes, that's the point I'm trying to make. Most of them couldn't swap hands without letting the rope drop, yet Jack and Cristian changed clothes. So it was unlikely to be a continuous task like they were trying to make it seem.

If I was cooped up in a house with little entertainment, I'd play along.

That's what I thought. The Box Task had toilet breaks, I think? If nothing happened apart from literally walking to the loo, abluting, and putting on a shirt, why waste HL time for that?
