I think what most people are saying though, is that Chloe spent the week up on a moral high horse condemning people for not trying hard enough to get the money back or for spending it etc etc but then she turned around and took a chunk herself. bear in mind that she didn't go in a grab the money - it was a 50/50 chance on a correct answer to a question by somebody else.

Exactly, I agree. I don't think many people have a problem with the fact that Chloe took some money, it's just infuriating because she has ranted so much at others for being selfish regarding the money etc. It's the hypocrisy of it all that is that getting people's backs up.

so the same outcome happens for two housemates - they got money because another housemate answered a question correctly/incorrectly

It can't be 'right' for one to take it and 'not right' for the other to take it. That doesn't add up. There's no 'excuses' for one and 'no excuses' for the other.

for me it's better if you don't think of anyone as "favorites" - it makes for a more neutral viewing of the series and the different games people are playing - whose being real, who's not. I think if somebody has a complete favorite they watch the series based on how it affects that one favorite and builds everyones character around the one individual.

That is exactly it, and I am a bit stunned that this logic even needs explaining tbh. Most of the others taking it wouldn't haven't bothered many of the housemates and viewers alike I reckon as the other housemates were not so viciously vocal against others re the prize pot, so Chloe taking it is not so much the issue as her attitude re the prize pot then turning round and doing such. If she hadn't made such a song and dance against other housemates, Jack in particular. Chloe should practice what she preaches.
