View Full Version : The worst twist in BB History

That was hands down the worst and most manipulative twist in BB history. It was an absolute given that Sam would've been evicted with this twist. The public were told nothing about it. And people wasted their money trying to save Sam by voting out others all these weeks. This is the lowest BB has ever fallen, and I didn't think it could reach such a low.

Never before has BB basically entirely chosen who goes home. I really hate that. This show is a pile of garbage. And Danny is a dickhead of the highest tier.

That wasn't a twist at all. It was just cruel and a terrible end to the journey of a lovely housemate who has been shat on from all angles :bored:

Yeah it was just manipulation and the producers deciding who to send home. I'm just so angry, I love this show but I hate the producers, channel 5 and what they've done to this show so damn much :(

Sam shouldve won.

BB may as well have just kicked her out, it was bull****. Made Emma's "Who wins, you decide" painfully ironic

Both this and the 4in/4out twist have proved what a mockery this show has become. Sticking to watching old series for now, prefer seeing it done properly.

Absolute joke of a twist and a waste of money to anyone who voted tonight.

How did the producers decide?

Sam picked that envelope and then the housemates chose her?

Unfair and cruel (Like Vanessa's BB6 eviction) but definitely not the worst twist in the show's history (looking at the Power Trip crap last year).

It was Sam or Harry either way..it was so obvious the house would vote out them and BB knew this too.

It was inevitable, given what the rules of the twist were, it was 100% going to be Sam who left, I knew it before anyone even opened their mouths. It was BB's way of ensuring Sam didn't make it to the final/win.

How did the producers decide?

...because they decided to do a twist where the housemates would have to choose to evict either Chloe (so no), Jack (so no) or Sam?

But, again, how did they "ensure" any of this?

The "rules" of the twist were that whichever housemate was evicted that amount would be added to the prize fund. How would BB ensure Sam had £15k?

Hmm. Wondering if people may have grounds for a refund for voting now actually. If people voted Harry out to save Sam, then the producers randomly kicked Sam out (which lets be honest, is exactly what happened) then...?

If Sam had minus 10k they still would have picked her...it was just convenient that she picked the 15k so they could try to justify it more..

Come on. They were never not going to evict Sam, whatever cost she was attached to.

There's no leg to stand on IMO.

The vote was for one public voted eviction, the result of which was Harry's eviction.

The twist that happened afterwards is something separate.

The vote wasn't rendered null and void, it happened and then there was a further twist.

Marsh.

But, in this scenario, isn't the simplest course of action to just have a double eviction from the public vote?

Yeah they should be entitled to a refund! the reasons people vote is either you dislike them or you want to save your favourite imo so you evict the person who will get the votes.

No because Sam wouldnt have gone then. They had to ensure Sam would be the one evicted.

No way was Sam one of my favourites however this is disgraceful at this stage of the series and for me a new low for BB.
I didn't think the production team could go any lower this series but they did tonight.

Terrible twist, terrible production of the twist and terrible outcome. Ofcom NEED to step in because Chloe and Jack obviously overtook Sam in the vote tonight but the people who voted them out have wasted their money because Sam was chucked out because producers decided to implement a twist one of them thought up this morning. The housemates were always going to evict Sam whether she had the 15,000 or the 1,000. The producers can't seriously pretend to not know that.

Ahh, that's where I disagree. Most people hate the twists and manipulation but there are a select few that pick and choose when to moan based on who they like and who they don't.

Ahh, that's where I disagree. Most people hate the twists and manipulation but there are a select few that pick and choose when to moan based on who they like and who they don't.

This twist is way over and above anything C5 have done before... they basically evicted someone themselves

I mean giving HMs immunity, good edits, putting them in secret houses and all the other bull**** is arguable but the public still ultimately decide who wins/goes

But this I mean come on it just ****s with a basic principle of BB to much and for no reason it didnt even have dramatic tension or cause a divide or argument. It was just an obvious boring foregone conclusion

They may as well have just said 'oh also Sam your evicted cause the producers have no storyline edits left for you... byee'
