They should sack the themes the only theme they need is back to basics.

Give it one more series. If that series turns out like BB15/BB16, then yes, put it out of its f'n misery.

Ideally they should keep it but totally rebuild the next series and actually make a decent series like we used to get in 'the good old days', but I've been saying that every year and rather than getting better the show is just getting worse and worse. Clearly it'll never happen so yeah just axe it now it's embarrassingly bad.

Who wants to see these wanna-be celebrity p#ss-takers anyway, not me!
Non of them have designs on real work or study - they all want to pose for a living. Bunch of losers! These are the folk, when asked what their hobbies are, say shopping. When asked what hey want to do for a living say to be famous. Society shouldn't encourage such shallow people to waste their lives and invade our living spaces via TV.

I say "put it out of its f'n misery" as soon as possible!

Yes.
Everyone thought BB15 being awful would be a one off. But somehow they've managed to produce a much worse series than last year.
Civilian Big Brother has had it's day. The bad series, and the bad ratings confirm this.
It needs to be put down, before we have more bad series than good series. 15 years is the perfect way to end it.
BB died after BB14, TBH.

Not really, no. They just need to get rid of those who are dragging the show down, replace it with all-stars next year and then come back totally revamped in 2017.

THIS
they ****ed with the format waaayyy to much this year it was all over the place, with no consistent rules in place it just felt like a bad scripted reality show with the producers deciding the shots.
This sam eviction twist was the final straw imo it was awful and I didnt even like sam

I wanted an all stars but they pretty much did that this year i would rather they replaced one of the cbb with an all stars.

I'd give it one last chance with BB17 if that falls flat on its face there's no life in the old dog anymore
i won't watch another series like this one so they can do what they want tbh

BB17 will really be the last chance they get. If we get a third crap series in a row then yes it needs to be gone from our screens for a few years or until some bright minds in television can bring it back with justice.

It would help if they stopped recruiting reality tv wannabees and nearly z-listers and went back to a diverse set of genuine people, like this year and last most of them have had some hand in the entertainment business and it all feels very staged and fake

If all future shows will be as awful as this one, then yes
Glenn.
10-07-2015, 11:10 PM
Yes and no tbh.
I'm fed up with people constantly complaining about every single little thing. It would be nice to have a few years off air to make people spend months and months making endless threads about wanting it back.

I don't mind fame hungry when its deluded and messy like the bb3-7(bar 4) casts, but this years lot probably have agents and they're more suited for scripted reality tv as they just aren't interesting.

Yeah I agree I wasnt very clear Im fine with the fame hungry the show needs that as BB4 proved. But like you say most of them now have agents and are on the cusp of the z list anyway it just ends up feeling like a preface to CBB with a **** cast each year.
Jason.

I don't think BB3-BB7 were fame hungry casts. I think BB8 was though.
I think BB6 and BB7 were media savvy, yes. But not fame-hungry.
Jason.

I agree. We had an All Stars this year with 3 weeks being dedicated to ex-housemates, and the originals being extras in their own series.
I think next years Summer CBB (CBB18 (Jesus Christ  ) should be a CBB All Stars, to not only celebrate 5 years on C5, but also 15 years of CBB.

Shouldnt that be commemorate :smug:

Yeah, although come to think of it. Who would want to "commemorate" 5 years since CBB8.
But it's a nice something as C5 major in CBB now, and also like I said it would be 15 years since CBB debuted, in 2001. Could be with C4 and C5 housemates.

TBF i was being a dick some of the C5 efforts have surpassed the final few series on C4 and lets be honest it will never be as good as its hay day again

No. It should just be given back to someone who knows what they're ****ing doing.

The producer's should be shelved. And they can take those pair of gormless idiot presenters with them for all I care.
No, the producers just need to stop manipulating the show all the time.
Jason.

No. But the level of bad the last 2 years have become are no where near the levels of bad during the last few years on C4.
The only good thing C5 has done is CBB, TBH. Especially over the last 2 years.
I know BB will never be as good as it was back in 2005/06. But, it doesn't need to so dire, to the point where the ratings are scraping just a million viewers, compared to two years earlier when a series almost averaged 2m.
They can still have a C5 golden era, which could beat a few of the decline series on C4. Had BB15 been great. We would've had BB13, BB14, and BB15 which would've made three good series in a row.
But, over the last 2 years, it's gotten so bad to the point where I think the best thing to do is just call it a day with civvy BB. It's not even the same show anymore, since BB15.
No what needs to be sacked is the entirety of the production team.
Natalie.

No they just need to not have a theme/not many twists and back to basics/normal noms.
