Course it is made to drum up support for him. It's a shame in a way because it is more the case that people are laughing at him rather than with him. Jack's appeal is more to do with what he looks like rather than how good a housemate he is which is somewhat cruel but I am sure he will not complain if it helps him to a win. BB are playing up to that fact. If you actually take that away he is still basically a miserable moaning whinger who likes a good old chinwag behind people's backs.
